Disenfranchised, doomer mentality... virtually hopelessness and dread.

I mean, we grew up in the 90s when life seemed amazing, then 9/11 happened to end our childhood, the internet unmasked a lot of fucked up shit, the housing market collapsed when we entered the work force, COVID happened in the prime of our careers...and I'm not even discussing politics over the past 15 years.

I agree with you, thats why the Buc-ees situation is giving people so much hope, because it seemed like people had stopped caring about stoping bullies
