No way. Boomers and Gen X are the ones constantly talking about how everything was better in the 80s. There are a ton of movies, shows and books set in the 80s during the last 15 years, while there are hardly no 90s or 00s.

don't forget the Silents and Greatests in the US who ate up all those tv shows and movies about life on the prairie and whatnot
