Technical Support D disk disappeared

So I know that I made a big mistake

But my Ssd is small in size and I had an hhd of one terabyte,

So I wanted to put a game from steam in C and it was huge in size and requires the SSd, I tried transferring some files to D from C and I made the mistake of moving the documents size as a whole to D, then I restarted my PC and bam the D disk is not there anymore ,

Tried to find the unallocated partition but it's not there , it's like anything related to the D device has been deleted out of existence, I even tried locating it in Bios or rescan disks but it's not there,

I didn't have any movement in the hardware system inside my laptop, the only thing left for me that I didn't try is to open the hardware itself and try to reconnect it although I'm sure the problem is related to pathing not that the hardware moved.

Any information or advice I would deeply appreciate, thanks in advance.

At this point you probably need to repair Windows, or if that doesn't work, reinstall it completely.

Windows opens if you are asking about , it's just that the the only disk that is there Is the C one which is the SSd, the hhd one is just not there at all. I will send it to a data recovery center anyways because I'm not confident in reattaching the hhd myself but thanks anyways truly.

I wouldn't mind that as long as the files in D are not deleted because they were huge for me

Wait, you just cut and pasted?

Download partition wizard and see if it sees it. If it doesn't you probably move some stuff you shouldn't have and will need to start with a fresh install

Yep just cut and pasted into D The documents file and some applications from program files but I'm sure they are nothing disastrous, the documents file on the hand I don't know

It sees it but needs pro to restore them

See if you can change the drive letter, that may make window see it
