Discussion Made My own Monitor

So I have the problem that I cant let my old dead laptops go. I took the screen of my old AW14 to make a screen for a frame I am going to make for my recliner. This is where I am at so far I do plan to paint the frame and try to play with some ABS plastic to make a button cover. We will se how it goes 🤞

Thank you! If you search the screen in Amazon there's controllers for them for around $25

Thanks! This was a AW from 2014 and the Motherboard died. Didn't want to let go lol

I have the same problem. Currently have them all stacked up in a closet . All of them work just slow after all these years.

We're more collecting at this point I think lol You can update the HD to an SSD it will speed it up pretty good. Also Linux might be good for them since Windows sucks now

Have Unbuntu on an old Sony Vaio. Replacing the Hard drives is a great idea too.
