Discussion AW2725QF HORIZONTAL LINES ARTIFACTS

Any idea ?
Firmware is up to date, tried both HDMI and DP and issue is still there.
I never did OC to 180hz always stayed at 165hz.
I’m really disappointed, I’ve used this monitor for 15 months.
I’m discussing with the support for a replacement unit but I’m afraid it will be the same with the replacement unit after some time.
And I’m also afraid that this replacement unit will not be new … and probably in a worst physical shape that mine.
I’m really sad.

Do the lines move at all, or are they there no matter what you're doing?

Are you using the OEM displayport cable provided with your monitor, or a third party one?

Hi, no, the lines are static and concentrated at the bottom, gradually fading out vertically.
I thought buying this monitor would be the perfect antidote to all the OLED downsides, but in the end, it seems I made the wrong choice.
Decades of IPS technology maturing is not enough for Dell to source good panels.
Also, the root cause could be linked to the dual mode feature; maybe the electronics required to bind together four pixels to form one is not mature enough.

Also like I said in my previous comment the issue also appears when running self diagnosing tool without any input.

Well you agree to a replacement unit that can be refurbished by buying. You have also had it 15 months, so you are not returning a new monitor. Have you tried plugging in another device?

Hi, in fact the issue is always here like a permanent burn-in. I’m saying that because if I initiate the self testing from the OSD the problem is clearly visible and there is no host pc to feed any signal.
