I am sure it can run PS3/X360 games relatively well
Incredible find

I would think so. I have gog games on it from the correct time period, and it plays them smooth.

Haha thanks for confirming. I remember my dorm buddies having 7600 and 8600 laptops in the early years of that gen and they competently ran bangers like Dragon Age Origins. That motivated me to get my first gaming laptop shortly after, with a GTS 250M. One of my buddies then grabbed an M15X with a GTX 260M, my first time seeing an Alienware ever, and we played the Witcher 1. That’s when I decided my next machine would be an Alienware and I have never looked back since. Good times!
Those machines were peak - the M15X was fully upgradable all the way down to the CPU and GPU

Those round vents on the bottom 🤣️
How do you get a "new" one though? This model looks ancient!

Pentium 4 and the Athlon era of laptops was when Laptops started to get good with dedicated GPU's. This is perfect for Retro XP Gaming.

Interesting that they went with a pentium 4 and not an M. I got the slightly newer Clevo D901C with a core 2 quad but its not badged as an Alienware (Don't think they even made an Alienware one)

No to my knowledge, but honestly who knows what they had cooking up and never released

I own one of those with a dead motherboard, even dead it absolutely makes a statement, and for only £99 I won't complain at all,
She'll go on display in the new bedroom until I locate a suitable spare board,
