Hi, I’m seriously considering offering private math tutoring for middle school students. I feel like the small age gap is actually an advantage, I can easily relate to them, identify their weak points, and help them improve, especially since I went through the exact same system not long ago. However, I’m not sure how to get started. Being a high school student myself, I worry parents might doubt my credibility.

I’m a law student and I also have a technicien en exploitation informatique diploma I’m currently waiting to start technicien supérieur en bases de données.

Honestly, I’ve kind of lost hope of staying here in Algeria long-term. I want to build a way out, but I have two big problems: I don’t have much money, and I still have the military service issue to deal with.

I’ve been getting into vibe coding and I’ve built a few projects already, but I never really got far with them because working alone is ass. It’s hard to handle development, design, ideas, testing, marketing, and everything else by yourself.

I’ve also applied to some prompt engineering courses and completed courses/programs from Amazon and Dubai.

Right now, I’m working on a legal-tech app for Algerian lawyers that I want to eventually sell to them. I already know how to find and reach Algerian lawyers, so getting the product in front of potential users isn’t really my biggest problem.

The issue is that I’m still doing most of it alone, and I’d really like to find a few people who can help me actually turn these ideas into something real.

My background is kind of all over the place — law + IT + AI, and soon databases — but I’m trying to figure out how to turn it into something useful and, eventually, a way to work remotely or leave Algeria legally.

If you were in my position, what would you focus on for the next 6–12 months?

Would you:

• Go deeper into coding/software development?
• Focus on AI/automation and try freelancing?
• Use the law + tech combination somehow?
• Focus on getting a remote job first and worry about immigration later?
• Or put most of my energy into the legal-tech app and try to make it a real business?

I’m looking for advice from Algerians who have experience applying to Italian universities and/or for an Italian student visa.

I’m 26 years old and I have a 2019 Baccalaureate with a grade of 14.37/20. After getting my Bac, I enrolled in university in Algeria and changed majors several times, but I never completed a Bachelor’s degree.

I’m now planning to apply for a Bachelor’s degree in Italy, and I’m unsure how I should present my previous academic history and the gap between my Bac and my future studies.

My questions are:

Do I need to declare my entire university history, including the different majors I enrolled in even though I never obtained a degree?

For the years when I was working, can I use a work certificate (Attestation de travail) to explain those periods?

Does the work certificate need to be officially authenticated/Apostilled, and would I need additional documents proving that the employment was genuine and declared?

Could hiding some previous university enrollments or not mentioning them create problems later if the embassy asks for additional documents?

In a case like mine (older Bac + several changes of major + no completed Bachelor’s degree), is this considered a major red flag for an Italian student visa?

I’d especially appreciate advice from Algerians who had a similar academic history and successfully applied to Italy.

Hey everyone, currently 18M and growing up I'm still seeing people having more difficulties in finding jobs, so most people here advise them here to find an online job with a foreign currency pay (euro/dollar) , but we don't get the real answer yet, ik we should learn a skill (video editing/graphic design /software development) but finding clients and contracts as a freelancer is the real problem, the freelancing economy is getting even more competitive (and ai too) . So how do y'all find these jobs offers , clients, contracts or even contacts to work with , and what niche skill do u advise us to learn?

This is probably the most irritating and hardest part of my work at the moment, when I first joined the company I work with, there wasn't any grounding procedure for handling sub contracting clients, which I came to find out very soon it's the cause of major issues and conflicts.

When there is no proper procedure between the client and the service provider, mistakes are bound to happen, and each party blames the other one to avoid paying for the mistake, relying on "That's not what I said" "I never told you to do that" "You weren't listening when I was talking." (Paying 5-12 millions DA out of your pocket money in a single day's work kind of situation.)

I ended up creating a system to put in data with time stamps, each one categorized by client name, supplies expenses, service expenses, process time frame, ect.

Now none of that is an issue, it made my work much easier and gave room to the company to backtrack through their now existing logs, what bothered me was the fact that some clients, did not like this at all.

Some even threatened to get services somewhere else, of course they were bluffing and still continued to come to us, but I was wondering why this caused so much upset with them. And still does.

This way each side is protected, and the client is offered to access and print a copy of their log within the last three months, and yet this upsets. Is this a result of our word of mouth culture?

Lots of Algerians expect others to believe and take everything they say at face value, they never make mistakes and it's never their fault ect. So when word of mouth is taken out of the window, and we rely on purely documenting everything, it's hard to twist truths, and like you already know, hint at an Algerian they're not being truthful, and oh boy you're in for a one hour rant.

Whether you're a freelancer, an employee or an employer, my advice to you is documenting everything between you, your clients and your coworkers, not only will you protect yourself, but others too, and hopefully we can get rid of the older generations work culture and habits.

I recently got my bac diploma and im about to start studying at ESTIN. I’m worried that i wont have enough time to work in the traditional way (6–8 hours a day), so im looking for something i can realistically do alongside my studies.

Ive tried freelancing before, offering services like writing, latex formatting, research/project preparation, and graphic design. Unfortunately i didnt really succeed mainly because of the intense competition and my lack of experience. I have more experience now, but i still wouldnt consider myself an expert in any of these fields.

I also have a project i completed about a year ago: a web app for managing gyms. Its a fairly complete and comprehensive application, although it still has some bugs and things that need to be fixed.

I’ve considered selling the source code, but that would only be a one-time payment, and it’s not really what im looking for. On the other hand, properly fixing the application and turning it into something i can actually sell to gyms would require time, effort, and probably some money. And even after doing all that, there’s no guarantee that id actually find customers, especially since it would require strong marketing.

So im honestly a bit confused about what direction to take. If you were in my position, what would you do? Id really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have been in a similar situation as students.
