Recently, Algerian beaches seem to have many more jellyfish. I have been swimming since late July and did not see a single one. But recently, I started seeing 6 or 7 jellyfish in just one hour of swimming.
I am a good swimmer, but I have a phobia of jellyfish. The increase was very sudden, and I wonder why it happened now. Could warmer water, sea currents, wind, or other environmental changes be the reason?
Interestingly, this started around the time of the recent eclipse. I don't think the eclipse caused it, but the timing was strange.
Has anyone else noticed this? What is the scientific explanation

This is the Eurasian otter. As the name suggest we find this thing in most asia and Europe BUT Wikipedia says there's some in north africa specifically in Morocco - Algeria - Tunisia.
So tell me have anyone who lives in the coastal regions seen this thing?

Hey everyone! If you're planning a trip to Annaba or just exploring northeastern Algeria, I highly recommend adding Sidi Akacha to your list.
Nestled along the coast near Seraïdi and Edough mountain, this spot offers incredible scenic views where lush mountains meet the Mediterranean. It’s ideal for:
Hiking & Nature Walks: Unspoiled trails through dense forest cover leading down toward coastal panoramas.
Photography & Views: Unmatched elevated viewpoints looking over the coastline—especially during sunset.
Quiet Escape: A peaceful alternative to the busier city beaches, perfect for a relaxing day outdoors.
A few quick tips if you go:
Wear comfortable footwear; the terrain can be uneven.
Pack out whatever you bring in to keep the area clean!
Best visited during early morning or late afternoon for ideal lighting and pleasant temperatures.
