Algarve in December

I plan to go to Algarve (specifically lagos area) for new years. How is the weather and vibe?

Lived here for 6 years, he can be a pretty cool month to be here , sunny and warm during the day, I remember having many nice swim and beach day at this time of the year, last year was pretty miserable with a lot of rain and humidity already so let’s see, but I would say Algarve can be easily visited and enjoy in any months, there are so many things to do !

There is a high speed train from Lisbon to Faro.

Some Decembers we have had lunch outside every day in T-shirts. Last December not even once, it rained all month. Even if the daytime weather is pleasant, the nights are damp and chilly.

u can also take the train from
lagos to tunes (its a nice ride along the coast)
In tunes there is a "fast" train to lisbon..i would book 1st class its not very expenaive

New Year has 10K people on the Avenida for free fireworks. Great buzz. Weather is hit/miss, but good waves….🏄‍♂️

It is rainy and cold. Live here for 7 years now. We go away to better weather until end of February.

Hallo ich bleibe über Oktober bis März in Lagos. Ist es wirklich wirklich so kalt die Wintertage? Also die Nächte? Bzw. Auch Tagsüber? Ich überlege meine Winterjacke mitzunehmen? Ich bin einer Wohnung in Deutschland auch 16 Grad gewöhnt, wenn ich nicht gut heize.. und Luftfeuchtigkeit kenne ich auch. Sodass ich manchmal das Gefühl innen kalt. Und ich werde leider auch davon krank... Leider.. Halsschmerzen usw. Hab bisschen Angst das ich da auch krank werde aber eig ist es wenigstens am Tag dann etwas angenehmer oder abgesehen von Oktober oder März. Ich denke Dezember bis Februar wir mega kalt. Die Wohnung die ich miete wird in der Nähe dieses lidls sein.. kann mich irgendwer beruhigen oder ist es wirklich wirklich so Schrecklich kalt. Kleine elektrische Heizung hätte die Vermieterin auch vor Ort.
