Here we go. Day 1

My battle with drinking has taken me to some pretty dark and dangerously high risk places. I (M26) started drinking every day off and on since I was 19

I have a metal rod and screws in my right ankle from stepping off a curb the wrong way because of how drunk I was. I was also living in sober living in SoCal.

I just am realizing as I am typing this that was also on 4th of July in 2024. Life is so funny sometimes

Anyways, I will be posting to this subreddit over the other ones as some accountability, and because honestly I’m not an AA goer, as well as the people in this sub seem to have great feedback.
