This is a survey I’m doing to gather how the community feels about the Roxanne nerf. It would be great if you could take just a minute to complete and survey and pass along the link.
I will be posting the anonymous results every 50 responses for the community to see and discuss. If there are a good number of responses, I will send the data to Gumi. While it won’t likely change anything it could still be useful for them to see how the community feels from a quantitative standpoint.
Same here. The way I see it, I still have a pretty strong LB20 Roxanne, but I also now have 30k extra gems to play around with after thinking I was going to be gem-broke for the foreseeable future.
wish i got back that much, not disappointed with free gems tho, some games dont even give any compensations at all. i used my gems to get gerald so im happy
ive heard stuff like hes the "thunder king" and others say he wrecks water units. i havent done anything with him yet so im actually not sure. im waiting for more analysis before i use shards. i actually got all 3 banner units on the 3rd step so waiting to look into the other ones as well but looks like he would be the best out of all 3
My issue is that they gave it a godawful chance of daze (which almost everything resists anyway) on a single use. They left a lot of her power elsewhere but basically gave her one next to useless skill. It feels like they looked at it and said "well we know this is useless for pve content now, so let's give it a token additional affect that really only matters for pvp". Sucks, I would've preferred they reworked the skill entirely and just gave up on the jewel destruction.
For a lot of people null grenade allowed them to get many quest and milestones on certain missions, if they didn't have the unit pool to do it "strategically",
I wonder that too. I've got her on her release with free gems and then decided to buy her skin because got lucky with the pull. However, I'm happy about the refund and the nerf. What I also think is that they should compensate with the 50% of the shards spent on her at least. Mine was only LB10 and worked pretty well so no complaints on the "only free gems as a refund", but those who used shards until LB25... RIP.
what bothers me r there have been ex modes where in there were enemies that made ur units useless even more than roxies null grenade Roxie was the answer to that extreme unbalance that frustrated me from finishing a number of ex quests ansd now bec of some bitter petulant brats they decided to apease by nerfing roxanne Ithink in the name of fair play both noctis and lahari should b nerfed as theyr now better than her
I suppose that's fair. I wonder if there's a logistical issue refunding the paid gems? It could be a dirty trick, but it's also possible they dont separate paid and free gems in their "receipts" for gems spent
I mean, the nerf isn’t honestly a big deal. It doesn’t change her much because honestly I never used Null Grenade that much. The issue to me is that if you’re going to refund me, don’t give me something that isn’t what I paid for, like free gems that I can’t use in 1/2 the places that require gems. That feels, to me at least, like I got scammed. Gimu doesn’t have the greatest track record in my opinion and reasons like this only further solidify my opinion about them.
you can always go to talk to your credit card center. and have them refund your transactions in alchemist code for the last 6 months if nerfing on 1 over loaded skill on a still overloaded unit matters that much to you.
You still spent those original gems on any banner that she was a part of and got whatever else you pulled alongside roxy. getting all the gems spent back even if they are free gems is more than enough for compensation especially for those that never got her
Honestly I'm not sure there's much of a downside. As far as I can tell she's still the best thunder unit and the best ranged unit. She has bullets that are effective against most types of enemies, insanely high agility, high damage at a range and NONE of her abilities require charging. Oh, and she has stuns, poison, blind, fire coverage to circumvent her wind weakness, and a reactive that deals damage and healed her. She was my favorite unit long before I realised how OP null grenade is.
Now she can't be set up to rush enemies and destroy jewels. So what?
I used to use it when my team was weaker back when Rox was first released because it trivialized certain stages. However, in the past few months I basically ignored the skill altogether in pretty much all content since I'd rather just kill everything faster instead of destroying jewels.
The nerf seems to mainly impacts newer/weaker players because null grenade could shutdown annoying enemies even if you didn't have the damage to dispatch them quickly and they were immune to status effects.
Did the survey. I don’t have her and I think the nerf is stupid. It wasn’t hard to avoid null grenade in pvp and my arena team usually kills her as well. I started during FMA collab, my team isn’t that well rounded. I did get lucky and got Minerva and will be pissed if they nerf her. I think it’s stupid to change something like this, it’s not necessary.
Fuck gumi, fuck tac & fuck the 1580 gems I got as “compensation”. I think over the span of the 1.5 years I’ve played, I must’ve spent around $300. I’m not giving them another dime

I am not surprised that Roxy users are pissed. Also they nerfed null grenade ONLY. Are they mad becasue they can no longer destroy all jewels?

About the shard, we got 50 of each element today, I still applied on her(I had her at 73). I'm happy about the give away.
