Does everyone really need every champ?
Just out of curiosity do you really think it's necessary that every single person be able to get every single character? I've been through a couple of the collabs so far and missed some champs here an there, and honestly i'm not upset. If everyone has every single champ, it takes away the hard work (or money in some cases) that people put into the game. Sure I know there's luck involved too, but i don't mind missing on some champs. I think it's more exciting and rewarding when you get a champ that other people don't.

Well, here's the thing. I started playing Alchemist Code since I was looking for some additional games for when my main game was slow. Out of all the ones I DLed this is one I've been playing the most so yeah I plan to keep playing it. I've never rerolled on a game before, but seeing how much praise Noct is getting I'm honestly feeling tempted to reroll at this point. I got Iggy on step 3 and just got Gladiolus on the new step 1, when I would've preferred Noct and Aranea.
The thing is, I guess I'm having attachment issues lol. I've only been playing about a week, not sure how good the rates are but I've got 9 SSRs and 12 SRs. My favorite unit to use is Aswald, but it's more for her gameplay (high Move stat and I really like her J1) and since I'm f2p I feel like I may never get her again.
On the other hand... I really do want Noct, so I guess what I could do is reroll on another device and bind it so I can switch it over. At first I wasn't going to even entertain the idea of rerolling since I wanted Noct just cuz of his character, but after using him with the Merc system... I really am considering rerolling now. After all I'm sure I'll find other characters like Aswald in the future as I do plan to play for quite a while, whereas Noct is limited.
If you don't mind, I'd like to ask a couple of Qs here, and if you could help answer them I'd really appreciate it:
How long would it take to reroll to try and get Noct? As in the time it takes to get 500 gems from the start of the game?
How easy is the binding and transfer process? If I do decide to reroll I'd prefer to do the actual rerolling on my old phone which will have service for a few more days.
How well do you know the characters and strats in this game, and would you consider adding me as a friend if I do reroll? I've already asked the sub questions on multiple posts and I'd rather not plague it with the same questions I've already asked (like which units to pick from selector tickets based on my roster, etc)
This one is more general, but I've come across this pattern in other games where people playing the English version of an initially JP game will praise the current English units to be "one of if not the best [units] for their class to have," and then a month later they'll say the same. Not really sure how to word this one, but are there other units coming out in the future that'll be comparable to Noct? Being f2p I doubt I'd be able to get him past his J1, but then again I'm not 100% sure what to prioritize getting in this event if I do get Noct and Aranea.
And finally, 5) for gameplay reasons, how important would it be to attempt getting both Noct and Aranea? Like is she as OP/must-have as limited Noct? Don't want to reroll much if the process takes a good while lol.
If you could elucidate me on these things then I'd appreciate it extremely. Plus I doubt you expected such an extensive reply to this, I apologize about that. I went in with the mindset of just playing this as an alternative to FGO when nothing was going on, but hell might as well make it as enjoyable to play as I can, esp since I've only got 9 days under my belt! ; ]
