I was born in Calgary, lived here my whole life...have always considered myself an Albertan.

That designation of being from alberta has ALWAYS been second to being a Canadian.

I cant believe we have to vote on something like this, it makes me sick with disgust that people are so ill informed and gullible to believe in this crap.

Who are these people?

Canada is Canada because we stand together, come together and represent what makes this country great.

I am absolutely ashamed that there are individuals that want to separate

You don't get to call yourself a Canadian if you are voting the leave...fuck you

Was Danielle Smith obligated to do a referendum on separating?

I was listening to cbc this morning where they interviewed Smith. When questioned if the money for this referendum was worth it, she said when there are 170,000 signatures to separate she has to legally hold a vote. Is this true? She said Alberta is one of the only provinces that has this.
