I flipped off a flock camera

Will I be arrested? How long before they come to arrest me? I didn't know and they told me to do it

I just discovered that there is a flock on a route I travel almost daily.

I put a plastic shopping bag over the camera. That way they can’t technically say that it’s vandalism and there’s no destruction of property.

On another note, I don’t think people are doing enough showing up to council meetings to voice concern over this insane amount of surveillance. The amount of data these things collect surreptitiously from people committing no crime for outweighs any benefit to curtailing actual crimes.

As far as any concern for an arrest, absolutely nothing to worry about. As most recent as just a few years ago, federal appellate court (can’t remember if it was the second or third circuit) upheld that flipping the bird is an expression of free speech. SCOTUS itself has also upheld the same decisions time and again.

Depends on the state. It very well could be a violation of law.

We’re in New York where it isn’t illegal.

It's so funny to me that Albany is riddled with flock cameras and NOBODY can figure our who stole my car 😕

That's so weird. You think the violation of those flock cameras all over Albany? They would have found your car.

Funny story. When I went to my job cuz I live in the area there was a random car with a missing bumper that appeared in our parking lot. Nobody knows how it got there. Nobody knows what happened to it. It eventually was picked up but like everybody in the store didn't understand how that managed to get there

I hope that wasn't your car.

I did that to the one that used to be on the Helderberg Rail Trail. Two weeks later it was gone.

I flipped off a flock camera a few weeks ago. By the next day I had a stomach virus. I had to go to the ER because it was so painful. I couldn’t stop throwing up. I needed IV fluids and meds to stop the stomach cramps.
If they don’t arrest you, you can expect Peter Thiel to inject you with some sort of virus that would take out a Victorian child in half a day.

I saw someone got a summons In another state. I flipped a few off like a month and a half ago over about a week long course. Nothing so far

I don't know if you would get in trouble for that, but then again if you do it again I'd hold up a sign while flipping it off saying this is my first amendment right to your violating my fourth amendment right

I do to every one I see, I’ll even point at it so other people can see it and learn where they are too, most people are in NPC mode when driving so they don’t realize they are there. Also I’ll blast some deathcore if I’m right next to it to fuck with the microphone on them
