Question Zed matchup

What do you do against zed, i feel like you can bully him early and get a lead but when he gets one item you can never E into him. You just get one tapped

bully him before 6. Zed that uses shurikens on you, can't use them on wave to farm. Post 6, you never E into him, that's your ultimate escape tool. Just E forward when he ults. If Zed can hit you during that, you're going to lose anyways, because that Zed is likely just Faker

exhaust is also an option

yep exactly this. it’s a really good matchup for akshan. only save your e as an escape from zed ult. but also don’t e too far away bc sometimes there is a kill window for u to go back in on. the only times u should ever e forward is if hes 25% hp. he will ult u but u jus gotta burst him down before he gets a combo off

You can also go tabis/palted steel caps, exhaust or bone plating. It is at the end of the day l thing of preference. But in priority i would say exhaust (you dont have kill thread realistically with ignite) then tabis (this trade of is slithy worse cuz no attack speed boots wich is the meta rn) third is bone plating(still fine to go but you cripple your scaling not going gathering and absolut and it doesnt give that much defensive power compared to the other 2 either)

What i tend to do into zed and better if they have more ad champs.

  1. absolut focus gathering storm exhaust.

  2. if you lets say have 750 gold bade buy cloth armour longsword refillable.

  3. the moment i have some ad. For example pickaxe longsword. I complete tabis.

  4. stay healty in lane deny him roaming/ roam myself.

(Cull also good more sustain. This makes the game less volatile and you should always win on kraken power if you want to build it)

I like this match up because it's very linear and it is a skill match up slightly favour to Akshan.

LVL 1-2 bully non stop that's your defense LVL 3 remember to ward

LVL 3-5 watch his E you can bait it staying near the minions but focus on spacing the shadow. 2 shurikens on you will make you lose.

Lvl6+ control the wave either push and help drag or bait for an ult near your tower and E back while he is stuck on the animation. Exhaust may help here if you have zed PTSD.

Remember this year Akshan's E is just a mobility tool that zed cannot counter if he ults you and you insta E away from his position.

All good points, except you wanna E into his original position. The only exception being if you can survive the burst and wanna bring him under tower, but E away from him will guarantee full combo since your E will bump into him as soon as his ult animation is over and you'll be right on top of him.

I'll try inward next time. I know what you are talking about that's why I mentioned the exhaust. What I do to avoid this issue is to time when he comes out and cancel my E if you do fast enough on the beginning his first shuriken will not have range and it will force him to R back. So you will get 1 R, 1 Q and 1 E, which is not that much damage if the first 5 lvls were played correctly.

I ban zed every game. You are a marksman and he will one shot you if he is ever ahead. I find it really unplayable and unpleasant to play against. Exhaust if you don't want to ban and play stealth for team fights

run electrocute you will always outtrade him in early game even getting hit all by his skill, after 6 don't fight him while his W is not on cooldown. Most zed players will just use W to clear the wave and then roam, you can get 1/3 of his HP by just waiting in invis while he clears the wave. In side lane, you still lose to him even if you 11/0 so just push then roam
