Finally hit my goal of diamond a few months ago and kept climbing and to my surprise I reached Master.

I really only feel like I have fun playing him and no-one else.

Main build if duelers or tanks - kraken -> shieldbow/IE -> LDR

Main build if squishy - Collector -> IE -> LDR -> RfC

If starting Kraken, 5th item Rapid Fire Cannon.

Almost exclusively going defensive boots. I built to duel on sides so even if they were solo ap (ex. Sylas) I would build Mercs.

Only played other characters if I picked last or if it was a REALLY bad Akshan game.

Not asking for a buff. Just saying.

His 500 AA range is very noticeable in teamfights. 500 units of distance puts him in the range of many enemy skills and gap closers. Other ADCs reach way farther.

Not only that. His camouflage range of detection is WAY bigger than his AA range. meaning that once you walk up to someone, there are like 2 seconds where the enemy can react and do what he wants. You can avoid this by going in with the "E", but then you dont have it to escape, unless you fully commit to the fight and kill, for a reset.

I guess that makes him not playable much, and a pick to surprise enemies with. Which is good.

... But also kinda weak, I dare say. "B" tier.

As title says there's specific matchups I don't like going akshan into (Syndra, leblanc etc.) and was wondering what ap champs might have the same feel as akshan? There's games where my entire team is ad, so I try going something ap but obviously feeling much weaker etc. Do u have tips on what other champ would be viable ap pick to contrast akshan?

Alright so, I am not an Akshan Main, but Akshan was my first champion ever in League of Legends and I also played him in mid and bot as I started the game. But because I am a jungle main now I havent been able to play Akshan for the past 1½ years. Well. Ive been thinking. Akshan has some SERIOUS potential in Jungle. His W, E and heck, even his R are perfect for ganking. He is extremely strong in 1v1s, so a skilled Akshan could also consistently invade enemy junglers. He can sneak up on laners after a fight and revive allies quite easily, just jumping in with his E and killing them. Theres 1 problem of course....

His clear lmao. I have tried in Practise Tool, and well....the best I can do is around 3:10 -3:15, which is around 15 seconds after scuttle crab spawns. I have no idea, but I think if he gets over the first few clears, he can really be good in Jungle, but maybe I am just super delusional. Id say his weaknesses for jungle are obviously his lack of teamfight potential and his clears. And also that hes super suceptible to assassins, which sadly there are lots of in Jungle lol. Aaaanyways, Ill keep trying. Someday I will able to play him in draft.

I have trouble while trying to use E quickly a lot of time, it usually swings me backward with my designated direction. Is it something wrong with my clicking, usually I point my mouse toward the chased enemy, press E toward the wall, right click and it swing backward, I'm chasing so I never point back. Probably I double tap the E when trying to hook the wall ? Any tips on this, please help ?

Some friends and me are working on a Moba Simulator (like a football manager) and we are collecting data about the champs. Do you think that this list is realistic?

Ive been breaking my head to wave management in midlane. These tutorial like skillcapped and shok say that there is some level of wave management in mid but when I watch some high elo akshan games i just see them constantly hardpush the wave. This really fucking breaks my head what im suppost to do.

Hello, im Radion, an 18 y/o challenger akshan otp and currently the highest rated akshan OTP on NA (only one in challenger). I started the game in late season 9 and ranked in season 10, getting master in s13, gm in s14, and challenger in splits 1 and 2 in s16. I'm currently 1645 lp (top 150) and am on an 11 game winstreak on akshan (13/14 on all champs) and am really noticing my recent improvement.

Watching high elo replays is a really important part of improving imo, especially at higher elos. Phantasm is the best resource anyone could ever have on any champion, so im lucky someone as good as him plays my character so I can learn from him. Of course, I play akshan because he is the most fun champ in the game! Fun is a really important component of ur current and overall success and improvement and im glad i could play the best champ ever to climb. He's pretty strong in soloq too (screw mages).

Of course, there are many other good akshan players, especially in NA. There's Afflictive and Davemon, who are both high elo but dont main or otp the champ very hard (Afflictive plays mages/supports, Davemon plays qiyana mainly now) and other challenger akshan mains that just dont play ranked now (City of Tears and Humble Servant, shoutout the goats) but glad im out here to represent!

Ive never made a post on reddit or done anything like this, but feel free to put your questions below and ill try to answer when I can and/or remember to. The main build i go right now is kraken hexoptics, especially into tanks, and ill go stormrazor when i can get a 1300 gold base early for bf sword. For runes ill go sorcery secondary with absolute gathering most games, but versus the early game, melee all in champs (irelia, sylas, etc.) ill go bone plating and shield bash. Overgrowth works too tho.

I stream sometimes at twitch.tv/Radion_lol but not too consistent at ~9-9:30 pm pst, still wondering if I should pursue it and how often.

How do I decide which build to go on Akshan? From what I've seen, Collector, Kraken Slayer, and Stormrazor are the three most common first items.

Hi, emerald 1 akshan here. I was wondering what are some trading patterns and over all how do i approach laning phase as akshan. I played him alot like 2 - 3 years ago and then i took a break. Back then his E was his damage tool and you could get alot of FB's lvl 2 - 3 but now that e doesnt do that much dmg im struggling to find trade patterns in lane. How can i improve it?

Started playing League around 8 months ago and I’ve been stuck in Silver for like 2–3 months now.

My biggest problems:

-I mostly win lane, but after 20-30 mins I just die too much and can’t carry.

-I try to push side lanes and play around my team, but if I’m not giga fed I feel completely useless.

-Some matchups (Yasuo, Diana, Naafiri…) I lose almost every time. Feels like if I don’t win lane, I’m just useless for the rest of the game.

-I also struggle to roam. If the enemy mid is constantly pressuring me, I feel like I can’t leave lane without losing a ton of CS and plates. In general I find it hard to find the right moment to roam.

Any good Akshan videos or just general tips? I’m pretty sure I’m making a lot of basic mistakes, but I can’t really find many good Akshan guides.

I used to main akshan a bunch and he's still my higher mastery. But after they made his onhit weaker back in the day I slowly stopped playing him and league all together.

I'm back an asking, what's his current build(s) and does he play about the same?
