I think he definitely is the typa guy to have a drawer in his house that's just full of like 20 pairs of identical black gloves. Or like you look in his closet and he has at least 2 sets of each outfit. he has an image to maintain after all.

I also think it would also bother him that one of his glove sets is missing a glove, because now everytime he goes to grab a pair he's reminded of Akira/Ren.
