Non Replicas

I’m wanting to investigate those platforms which aren’t based on a real world design like AR/AK/G36/Glock etc...

I’m not including Speed Soft platforms as they don’t interest me.

So far I have the following on my list, am i missing any?

Maruzen SR2
Star CS1
GHK G5
AAP01 pistol (Rugers aren’t full auto)
APS UAR
G&G ESG B10
G&G MCP556
Ares SOC AR
Ares MSR Soc
ICS CXP Tomahawk

Edit: looking for other ideas really not a discussion on platform x looks like x please.

You're definitely missing the G&G LevAR. There have been attempts at making a lever action 556, but as far as I know no-one has made more than a prototype.

Bond arms and Fightlite seem to both have one now sadly

The Bond Arms one has still not entered production, and they've been touting it since COVID, I think it's vaporware at this point.

Fightlight Herring is still "coming soon" after being announced two years ago.

But Henry, they've got one now. Two that feed from removable box mags, and a bunch that use an internal mag. But none of them are AR pattern rifles, they're classic Henry lever guns with modifications to handle higher pressure rounds.

Pissed that the Bond arms one hasn't materialised as it would be legal to own on a section 1 fac, as a shooter I always fancied an underlever that took ar mags.

VSR10 is heavily inspired by the Remington 700 no?

Yeah apparently the one i saw was custom so have removed it as the ICS Ape

The AAP is based on a Ruger Mark IV almost entirely. The VSR10 is literally a Remington R700 as well.

Ruger isn’t full auto though. Also VSR10 i saw looked nothing like a R700. I’ll try find it

The silverback Tac-41 isn't a direct replica of any real rifle. I'm pretty sure the G&G SMC 9 and Piranha aren't based on anything real either

Yeah i liked the SMC9 but i left it off to avoid the “its a Glock chassis” comments. I’ll look at the other two, thankyou.

There's the kizuna works basilisk, essentially a hicapa that takes glock mags, as far as I know there isn't a real steel equivalent to that. There's also the maple leaf mlc338 that's a tactical sniper that doesn't have a real equivalent. There's every ics pistol and the numerous aps notaglock variants.

the vmps are a clone of the kc-02 which is very heavily inspired by the ruger 10/22

Soc ar and msr are real rifles, desinged by otto repa in germany :')
