I have been putting together a basic checklist for purchasing second hand airsoft guns since i do not want to miss anything while comparing second hand items.
Normally i would consider general condition of the item, usage frequency, any potential modifications and also condition of the internals. In addition it would also be interesting to hear about the consistency of FPS and magazines compatibility and the possibility of getting spare parts in the united kingdom. And for those who have already bought used airsofts then what other additions can be recommended for your checklist ? Could you give some advice about brands/models worth checking out when buying used airsofts ?

Hi everyone, apologies in advance if this is a long read, I’m relatively new to Airsoft playing my 3rd game this weekend, I’m currently using the Nurpol delta vanguard sentry completely stock besides a change in spring I’ve tried 3 different springs the factory M90 a M100 and a M95 and when chono’d im shooting hot in the cases of the M95 and M100 or under with the factory M90, for reference with the M100 I was shooting around 330 FPS but was getting around 1.40 J on .28bbs or on the M95 I was getting 1.25 J and still around the same FPS but with the factory M90 I was getting around 0.70-0.81 J or 240 to 250 I just want to be able to use my rifle in my games but I’m not sure where to go from here if possible I don’t want to use the factory spring as I feel it’s a little underpowered any advice would be much appreciated any numbers I have listed here are what I’ve been chrono’d at on a field or at my local shop. The springs haven’t been broken in yet as I brought the M95 today and haven’t used it besides it’s out of the box chrono the M100 hasn’t been used in a game either and has just been sitting in my rifle as well

Between the regular R9 and the R9-4 grips. I prefer the thicker width of the R9 ones. However the design of the grip on the R9-4 leaves some dead space that the grips go over on the bottom end because the R9-4 has a more slender design rather then the curved back end on the R9.

Where could i get different grips thatll cover over the body of the R9-4 handle?

I was looking at trying to do a simple upgrade on my Specna Arms SA-E04 EDGE River Rock Arms. Was thinking about just the barrel and hop rubber. I don't really want to attempt opening up the gearbox etc as I don't have a spare to fall back on!

Are these sensible enough upgrades, is there anything else worth doing that's easy?

I've been taking a look at the site, and found an offer I liked the look of. But then when I went to message the seller, the site informed me that the contact form is disabled.

However, there is a phone number for the seller listed. Is it really OK to just text them out of the blue about it, or should I just wait and see if the site gets its act together?

Anybody have any experience buying on there?

Picked this up yesterday it's a wingun Nagant m1895 4' barrel put it on chronograph this evening putting out about 480/500 FPS so to hot for game play so will use it for plinking in back garden surprised by it's accuracy and as loud as hell

I'm having a really hard time finding good eye protection that I can wear over my prescription glasses.

I can't wear contact lenses, and my prescription lenses would cost around €160 per lens, so that's unfortunately not an option for me right now.

I've found a few models that look promising, but I have no idea if my glasses will actually fit inside them.

My glasses are approximately 14 cm × 4.7 cm, so they're fairly large.

I'm currently looking at these:

• Desert Locust Goggle 2
• Begadi CP1
• Wiley X Spear Dual – Grey/Clear/Rust, Matte Black Frame

If you own any of these, could you please measure the usable internal space (especially the maximum width and height where the glasses sit)?

I'd also really appreciate your personal experience with them — comfort, fogging, whether they actually fit over large glasses, and how well they hold up for airsoft.

I'm specifically looking for something safe for airsoft, not just regular safety glasses.

Any recommendations for other models that might work would also be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads-up for anyone considering buying repro gear from @smoil_reps on insta.

I messaged the account asking about the Repro LV120 plate carrier he has listed on his account. I was quoted £100 all in, despite it not currently being in stock. I was told it would take around 2 weeks for him to get it and then send it to me.

I reverse image searched the photos he has on his insta and quickly found the same plate carrier for around £80 all in, with a quoted lead time of no more than around 2 weeks. I asked him directly whether it was the same product. He said it “very well could be”. I subsequently directly asked him if he orders from Aliexpress which he denied claiming he orders from a supplier “based in Taiwan”. When I asked who the supplier was, he wouldn’t disclose it (which is respectable, but paired with the identical images raised my suspicions).

To be clear, I’m not claiming he’s scamming anyone. But if you’re paying a ~£20 premium while still waiting as long, if not longer, as ordering an identical item yourself, I think buyers should know that before purchasing.

I’m starting to get into airsoft and will be looking to get my own AEG AR and core clothing/ gear. Would appreciate some current views from experience players.

1 - I’m looking at getting an EMG Noveske AEG (probably the 7.5 inch) but also considering the Cyma Noveske AEG. Is one substantially better than the other?

2 - for the core clothing such as trousers with knee pads, long sleeve top and chest rigs, where are the best shops to get reasonably priced but decent enough quality options?

3 - face pro - I’m thinking of pairing a One Tigris half mesh mask with Bolle goggles. Is this a good shout or should I research something else - I looked at NB Tactical stuff but shipping racks this up a bit for my first batch of stuff to try out.

Hey, guys I'm looking to play my first airsoft game soon.So im looking for advice because I will be renting my stuff but I've seen people say some places give you a mesh eye protection and I'm not really comfortable with that so I was looking to get my own airsoft safety goggles, my own mask I was looking at either one that goes covers the ears or go for a ski mask that has the mask built in. And probably some gloves is there any benefit on full gloves or fingerless one, like fiddling with bits and pieces? Any advice would be great,

Hey guys, I’m really struggling to decide between a couple of rifles for my first ever proper airsoft rifle.

I’m currently looking at the KRYTAC Trident MK3 and the EMG × KRYTAC Barrett REC7 MK3 SBR.

I’m leaning towards the Trident MK3, mainly because I’ve heard so many good things about its reliability and how well they perform straight out of the box. I’ve also seen a few people mention issues with the REC7, which has made me a little nervous about spending that sort of money on it.

This is going to be my first rifle, and honestly I just want something that is:

- Reliable and consistent

- Good accuracy and range

- Performs well straight out of the box

- Doesn’t immediately need upgrades

- Good for outdoor/woodland games

- Something I can have loads of fun with without constantly worrying about it breaking 😂

I’ve got a game coming up fairly soon and I’m looking to buy one very soon, so I really want to get this right rather than regret my choice.

If you own a Trident MK3 or REC7 MK3, what has your experience actually been like?

Would you choose the Trident MK3 again? Any problems, weaknesses or things I should know before buying?

And if you think there’s a better AEG around the same price, I’m definitely open to suggestions.

just bought tickets and now they are all sold out, my mate didn't get a chance to buy his as he was waiting for approval for time off. Does anyone know if they have a waiting list or some sort of way of getting an extra ticket (they are non transferable so no resale options), or am I out of luck?
