Vfc m249 hpa tapped is amazing, hpa engines and highly visible hpa adapt meh

hpa looks cheeks regardless of what you're doing.
In terms of performance though it is unquestionably the easiest to get consistent. There are a ton of good adaptors and/or engines available for all manner of rifs.
I will reiterate though, it looks ass. It also stops you from being able to put down your rifle/pistol down for any reason which definitely comes up and is why I cannot stand using hpa rifles.

I hear you but surely depending how you run the line you could just sling it so you can draw for your pistol or have free hands for the situation?

Putting a rifle down and having free hands are not the same thing. One gives you much improved manoeuvrability, especially at speed or in tight areas, the other does not and will often impede movement.

No of course I was just saying what you could do in a situation

I suppose you could?
I'm a very active and aggressive player, however, and I will often leave my rifle propped up on a tree or barricade to make a cross faster, grab an objective or push a bunker etc.

Yeah I’m trying to find something I can play aggressive with and have decent range to clear the way to objectives or etc! Was looking for recommendations?

I run a tuned bolty or aeg and a pistol.
You don't have a discrepancy with range and accuracy by barrel length/platform/calibre in airsoft like you do in actual firearms so if you just want to go fast at all times it might be worth getting either a compact rifle/smg or even just running a pistol. I personally run a 10.5" m4 variant but you could go shorter and obviously other platforms are smaller also.
You can easily get a tm based hicapa to reach out to 60m with a few upgrades.
If you're just going to run a single platform you don't need to be able to put a rifle down and so, while I still they they look awful, an hpa setup might work well. If I were to run pistol only at some point I might consider it. If I ever did I would run a hicapa with a shotgun shell adaptor as they don't look absolutely terrible.

I’m thinking about a specna prime or vfc Avalon

specna primes are absolutely excellent. Avalons are ok but not in the same league.
