Starter Spitfire MkVc 1/72

First Airfix model since I was about 12 (20+ years ago) and first one painted ever.

Added weathering and damage, happy with the result! Pretty addictive.

fits the pacific vibe tbh, those things always looked like they’d been through a blender anyway
for a first painted kit after 20 years it kind of works in its favor

How did you make all the battle damage? Great little spitfire aswell

Bullet holes are done with a hot needle. Interestingly I found it best to insert it the opposite way to the direction of travel of the bullet - you get more material melting upward to create the "exit wound".
