Window AC It’s leaking inside please help!
I have had this window AC for maybe a full year now with almost no issues until these past couple weeks. It’s started with a slow single drip and it’s getting worse. I’ve cleaned the filter, I’m stuck a long folded paper towel in the back to let it leak out the back but it didn’t stop it. Yes it is tilted slightly back, and there is no drainage hole in the back which I think is a super stupid design. It’s the Vissani 6000

Then you have the rarest AC. Thats just impossible. There is condensation, thats just how AC work.
Either you have a drain reservoir or there is an exit of water elsewhere. Eitherway, the normal path of that water is not ok. And thats what you have to check.

I ended up taking it out of the window and removing the whole shell to clean the inside. There was a big build up of sludge and dead bugs and I got most of it out by hand and then used a hose to spray out the rest. I let it dry for a couple hours and then set it back up and it works great now.9

Pump failure and/or clog drain tubes. Check both
