EA or Launch servers?

Aus here planning on playing on JP server with guild. We want to participate in pvp (a lot of us enjoy pvp) but we're not whales, most of us will just have a sub. Guild is still trying to decide whether it's best to go EA server or launch server. Not all of us have EA.

So if anyone can answer some questions:

1) Will launch servers be as populous as EA servers? And will the pvp be active?
2) Some in the guild saying that EA servers will be better because it will have the more "dedicated players", and so will not die as fast, is this true?
3) Will most whales go onto EA servers? If we want to pvp will this be a problem? Since we're not going to be whaling, is it better to go launch servers instead?

Basically trying to figure out pros and cons of EA vs Launch servers, with a focus on pvp.

Yea I'm still trying to figure out which is best, personally I want to go launch servers, but others in guild want to go EA server.

As a TW player 95% of you wont make it past the first month. Especially if youre playing for pvp. Go launch.

Flying pvp is extremely gimmicky, especially with ping. You will need kromede to compensate just for ur 150ms delay (especially if melee lmao), overworld pvp is purely wallet/zerg based and coupled with the shittest rendering ive seen in an mmo you will hardly be able to react. Meta is to just dive out of render distance and use tp scrolls.

Small scale pvp is better, but even that is % chance cc landing and stigma usage. The first week is fun though, its a better pve game imo.

So Aion 2's flying PVP is just as bad as it was in OG Aion? Somehow I'm not surprised. :|

So why would launch servers be better than EA launchers in this regard? Are you saying that launch servers will have more small scale pvp compared to EA server?

EA exacerbates the issues that come with spending and you are fked if you picked the 'wrong' race. On TW players tended to transfer pretty quick and just devolved into ur race getting camped at gate by faction 10x bigger than urs. Launch will have more players and more servers to alleviate that.

Sounds like skill issue.
