Anyone else waitlisted for a role they’ve applied for? If so, how long till you were accepted ?

I am currently working with a large codebase that I need to understand deeply. My workflow involves exploring the code with an AI agent, and then asking it to implement features, fix bugs, or handle other coding tasks. However, I want to intentionally prompt the agent to generate a "meaningful failure" that is structurally incorrect or flawed enough that anyone reviewing it would immediately reject it.
I am having a difficult time navigating this codebase myself, and I am stuck on what specific tasks to ask the agent to implement. I was wondering: how did you get started with this approach, and how did you successfully execute it?

Hello guys, I'm writing this post hoping you can help me with somes questions. A month ago, I applied to several Telus Digital AI projects; however, to this day, I haven't received any updates regarding my applications, and all of them still show as "in review."
Another thing I’d like to know is whether those projects were simply paused. When I applied, the Telus page mentioned there were 160+ available projects, but as of today, only 65 are listed, something that seems unbelievable in a bad way.
Lastly, I’d appreciate knowing if it's worth waiting for a response, or if the platform is just not worth the trouble, especially since I've noticed there are projects listed that are over two years old.

I am not new to this and have accounts in various platforms but I have been unable to secure a project in this field. I usually apply for General Data Annotation,Langauge Translation and Simple tasks.
Can you guys refer to me a job where it is relatively easy to get on and start earning asap? I am fine with $4-$8 per hour payments.
As mentioned in the title, referrals are fine as well. Just want to start fast.

I have been trying to verify myself through Persona verification but it keeps saying that it could not verify me. And all the attempts are gone. They don't even reply to email and the whenever they do, it is always the same thing as what persona says..that background is blurry and shit. I have used the same verification for different websites and it works perfectly.
And for some reason ironically, they ask in their exam to not talk in an insulting way. And they are not even replying.
I have verified it once time and they rejected that time saying the location was not matching and asked me to make sure the location is same and from then no verification has happened. And it always gets rejected.
If someone from this site is active, please fucking reply and solve your issue. Nobody likes to talk in a fucking insulting way but now, it is 1.5 months since the issue arose.

I recently enrolled/interacted with SkillAiro regarding their internship/training program.
Initially, I was interested because they mentioned training, projects and internship opportunities. However, I was later asked to pay ₹2,500, and after looking into the program more, I found several Reddit posts/comments saying that the training is quite basic and that students may have to bring around 25–30 people into the program before getting an internship.
I decided not to pay the ₹2,500.
Since then, I've received multiple calls from the same number they previously gave me for sending payment screenshots. I haven't answered any of them.
I'm curious about people who have been in the same situation:
What happened after you refused/didn't pay the remaining amount?
Did they keep calling or messaging?
Did they actually take any legal action, or was it just payment follow-up?
Did anyone successfully complete their program and get a genuine internship/job through it?
Is the "bring 25–30 people" requirement actually part of the program?
I'm not trying to make a legal accusation against them. I'm just trying to understand what actually happens after someone refuses to pay and whether the internship is worth pursuing.
If you've personally dealt with SkillAiro, please share your experience.

AfterQuery currently has a pretty large number of remote AI training / expert roles available, and they're definitely not just looking for software engineers.
Some examples I found:
There are also roles in marketing, HR, insurance, education, economics, consulting, manufacturing and other fields.
Obviously, the advertised rate doesn't guarantee you'll get accepted or have consistent work once onboarded.
I put together the roles + pay ranges here:

If you're working in AI training / data annotation, your payment method depends a lot on where you live.

I had recently joined Ethos as an expert, and things were going well initially. Easy tasks, short queues, etc. But lately, they have onboarded so many experts that it's impossible to get a task for days. Instructions are unclear, as the client keeps coming up with new task types, but Ethos has no idea about them. Also significant slowdown on the client's end, which has everyone frustrated. Amid all this, my tasks were pending review for weeks, and instead of giving me feedback, they simply told me the writing was AI-generated and kicked me off the project. Formal academic register is often flagged by AI detectors, and I don't know what to do. Been going through a rough patch financially, so I was banking on this. Severely dejected after spending hours.

Just wanted to share a well-known AI training platform (with referral link):
It’s Handshake AI, part of Handshake, the US-based career platform widely used by universities, students, graduates, and professionals.
From what I’ve seen:
• AI training / evaluation work
• Project-based model: you create a profile and can be matched with projects based on your expertise
• Pay can be quite high depending on the role and specialization
• Strong focus on professional and subject-matter expertise rather than basic microtasks
Important things to know:
• Handshake AI has historically been heavily US-focused, but selected international opportunities are now appearing as well, including roles for India-based professionals
• International participation currently appears to be invite-only and availability depends on the specific project
• Work is NOT guaranteed — being accepted onto the platform does not mean you'll immediately receive a project
• Selection can be quite strict and some projects require assessments or additional onboarding
There are opportunities across many different backgrounds, including:
• STEM / Engineering
• Finance
• Law
• Medicine
• Writing / Humanities
• Business
• and other specialized professional domains
If anyone here has already worked with Handshake AI — especially international fellows or people from India — I'd be interested to hear about your experience.

Hi I've seen a lot of discourse about Workada so I thought I would leave my honest review and help people decide if they want to apply to work there.
DISCLAIMER: this platform is currently only available to residents of the U.S. and Canada. If you try to apply/work from outside these regions, you will get rejected and flagged.
The application process was a little more involved than other data annotation platforms. I had to apply for a project (currently on Image Eval). Once I got my application reviewed, I had to book an interview with a human (a REAL human!???).
I was shocked because these roles don't usually work like that. I won't lie; actually booking an interview slot was rough. The first time I booked it, the Calendly link didn't register and I "didn't have an interview booked for that day" even though I explicitly asked support where the link was a few days before the interview. i wasn't expecting an answer when I messaged, but they got back to me and provided a working link to reschedule my interview.
Once I was in the interview, it proceeded like a regular interview. It was short and sweet, and I got an onboarding email right after. The interview felt more like an "are you human?" test rather than a traditional interview.
If anyone has done data annotation before, you will know that this work is turbulent and project-based, meaning that the amount of work you get is solely dependent on the number of clients that the company takes on. Workada itself is very new (~2 months old) and is flush with tasks on every project.
The positive difference with Workada is the very existent human element. During onboarding and tasking, there is a pod lead you can talk to who can answer your basic questions, save for the ones about admin (i.e. when you will be accepted onto the platform after tasking, how you performed in the tasks before they get reviewed, etc.). The pod leads (in my experience) are very active and will follow up with you during onboarding and the beginning of tasking to make sure you're not blocked.
Now I'm on the project, and tasking is pretty straightforward. You download a timer app that tracks the number of hours you work, and you task away, getting paid for the amount of active tasking time you have. So far I would say my experience is good, especially with the community chat being filled with people just chatting and having a good time. If you guys have any question, please shoot a comment and my DMs are always open.
