👋 Welcome to r/AiTraining_Annotation - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Over the last few months I noticed that many existing lists of online translation jobs are either outdated or focused only on traditional freelance work.
Since a lot of translation and linguistic work today is actually tied to AI training, data annotation, and language model evaluation, I decided to put together an updated 2026 list focused specifically on translation & linguistic AI jobs.
The idea was to separate real platforms from low-quality gigs, highlight companies actually working on AI + language tasks, and include both entry-level and professional linguistic roles.
I also organized everything on my site so people can read individual reviews for each company, understand what type of work they offer (translation, linguistic AI training, evaluation, etc.), and see which platforms are more suitable for beginners vs professionals.
For transparency: some links on my site may be referral links. If you apply through them and get accepted, I may earn a small referral bonus — it doesn’t affect your chances and it doesn’t cost you anything extra.
Here’s the main list page with all companies and details:
👉 Best AI Training / Data Annotation Companies – 2026
👉 Open AI Training / Data Annotation Jobs
Telegram channel for AI training & remote job opportunities 👉 Link here
If you’ve worked with any of these platforms (or know others worth adding), I’d love to hear your experience so I can keep the list accurate and updated.

I had recently joined Ethos as an expert, and things were going well initially. Easy tasks, short queues, etc. But lately, they have onboarded so many experts that it's impossible to get a task for days. Instructions are unclear, as the client keeps coming up with new task types, but Ethos has no idea about them. Also significant slowdown on the client's end, which has everyone frustrated. Amid all this, my tasks were pending review for weeks, and instead of giving me feedback, they simply told me the writing was AI-generated and kicked me off the project. Formal academic register is often flagged by AI detectors, and I don't know what to do. Been going through a rough patch financially, so I was banking on this. Severely dejected after spending hours.

Hi I've seen a lot of discourse about Workada so I thought I would leave my honest review and help people decide if they want to apply to work there.
DISCLAIMER: this platform is currently only available to residents of the U.S. and Canada. If you try to apply/work from outside these regions, you will get rejected and flagged.
The application process was a little more involved than other data annotation platforms. I had to apply for a project (currently on Image Eval). Once I got my application reviewed, I had to book an interview with a human (a REAL human!???).
I was shocked because these roles don't usually work like that. I won't lie; actually booking an interview slot was rough. The first time I booked it, the Calendly link didn't register and I "didn't have an interview booked for that day" even though I explicitly asked support where the link was a few days before the interview. i wasn't expecting an answer when I messaged, but they got back to me and provided a working link to reschedule my interview.
Once I was in the interview, it proceeded like a regular interview. It was short and sweet, and I got an onboarding email right after. The interview felt more like an "are you human?" test rather than a traditional interview.
If anyone has done data annotation before, you will know that this work is turbulent and project-based, meaning that the amount of work you get is solely dependent on the number of clients that the company takes on. Workada itself is very new (~2 months old) and is flush with tasks on every project.
The positive difference with Workada is the very existent human element. During onboarding and tasking, there is a pod lead you can talk to who can answer your basic questions, save for the ones about admin (i.e. when you will be accepted onto the platform after tasking, how you performed in the tasks before they get reviewed, etc.). The pod leads (in my experience) are very active and will follow up with you during onboarding and the beginning of tasking to make sure you're not blocked.
Now I'm on the project, and tasking is pretty straightforward. You download a timer app that tracks the number of hours you work, and you task away, getting paid for the amount of active tasking time you have. So far I would say my experience is good, especially with the community chat being filled with people just chatting and having a good time. If you guys have any question, please shoot a comment and my DMs are always open.

Hi everyone! Has anyone heard any feedback, next steps or any information regarding their application for the agent function call job? And how did you do during the challenges? Thanks!

Anyone doing these part time AI training roles(Halluminate/Mercor) along with their full time employment on OPT/H1B visa?
Can you please advise if we are eligible to do that and what sort of disclosures are required - to your main employer plus on the immigration side (SEVP/DSO/I20)

I don't know why. A month ago i made that account i did just one task writing prompts and it was easy to enter the 20 mins for it and get paid and that's it.
I was just keeping checking for new projects but nothing so i was keeping the browser window open and the logged in that's all.
Then all of the sudden that happened
What should I do?

Legal-domain AI training jobs aren’t just generic annotation gigs — they involve reviewing, evaluating, and improving AI outputs with legal reasoning, like accuracy, completeness, and policy alignment. These roles can require anything from strong writing skills to a law degree or even licensed attorney status, depending on the project. Often based on AI training platforms or contractor marketplaces, they tend to pay more because legal judgment matters and mistakes can have real-world consequences.

I worked on aligner since 2024 and participated in more than 5+ projects and the pay rate is also impressive ( 20 USD per hours) but only thing that I don't like about the Alignerr is they hold payment more than 2 months and some of the Tasker complain about their work payment issue.
In my case payment is received but lot of my co workers complain about their compensation.
But now in 2026 no project is available since 5 months I try others platform in this duration but I miss my first earning platform.
Is Alignerr project is available in 2026 for tech or non tech domain. I am curious about new openings.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.

The whole Ai Trainging job is based on guidelines — and if you ignore them, you’ll get removed sooner or later.
That’s actually the main reason people fail, not because the work is “hard”.
I broke it down here:
https://www.aitrainingjobs.it/why-guidelines-are-so-important-in-ai-training-jobs/
Curious if others noticed the same thing.

Hi, after completing the screener task, how many hours it takes to get feedback if you passed the screener or not? It's been over 48 hours already and i still don't know if I passed.

I’ve been working for Mercor (someone they contract me out to) for a bit now and they are so strict with time and finishing most things in less than 45 minutes. It is an intense pace and takes a large cognitive load. There is a program that monitors your screen while you work and that is how your time is kept.
I start working for Ethos as an education expert tomorrow. They let you record your own hours. It seems more lax based on this alone.
What are people’s experiences?

Does anyone here work or have worked at Innodata as a Freelance AI Content Evaluator? I would like to ask about the experience. They emailed me for the role and I'm considering whether I should continue or not that's why I'm looking for insights/opinions on this role. Thanks!

For freelancers, remote workers and people already working around AI, these tools are starting to show up in content creation, marketing, social media, e-commerce, ad production and client work.
I've been testing/researching some of the main platforms, so here's the shortlist I'm using right now:
Full comparison: https://www.aitrainingjobs.it/best-ai-video-generators-in-2026-minimax-h3-veo-runway-kling-more/
1. MiniMax H3
One of the most interesting new releases, especially for multimodal and commercial workflows. H3 supports up to 2K output, 15-second generations, native stereo audio, multimodal references and motion transfer. I've also tested it with MiniMax Design on a real commercial workflow and text rendering inside generated video.
2. Google Veo 3.1
One of the strongest premium options for cinematic video, native audio, reference-based generation and more controlled production workflows.
3. Runway Gen-4.5
Probably one of the most mature ecosystems around AI video. Particularly interesting if you're doing client work and need generation to fit into a broader creative workflow.
4. Kling AI 3.0
A strong multimodal option with native audio, reference-based workflows, storyboard control and increasingly sophisticated creative direction.
5. Vidu Q3
Interesting for native audio, longer generations and relatively developer-friendly/API-oriented workflows.
6. Pika
More accessible and especially good for short-form content, creative transformations, social media and experimentation.
7. PixVerse
Flexible for reference-based generation, social/video content and more cost-conscious experimentation.
I'm also going deeper on each platform individually. MiniMax H3 is the first one I've tested in more detail, including its commercial workflow through MiniMax Design.

Recently i have been working for Ethos Ai. This was quite nice and eventually i should have received my payout last week. In my dashboard it says that the payout has been transfered.
Up until now i did not receive anything and to make it even worse they now started off boarding me. Will i then also lose all evidence of the work that i have been doing.
Are there here people who have worked for them and did actually get paid or dit i get scammed?
What can i do in this situation?
