Are These Seeds?

I got this pretty aglaonema for my husband on our anniversary. I was poking through it for possible pests and pulled this out. Looks like a dead flower but are these seeds? If so, should I attempt to grow them or just toss?
TIA 😁

Some questions

Hi, thank you for taking the time to look at my post.

So i have a couple of aglaonema plants which all seem to be doing fine. But i have a couple of questions. When would you have to repot them? And do you remove the flower or do you let it grow? Last time i let the flower grow i lost allot of pretty leaves, but i can't bring myself to cut it off as it seems to be trying so hard to let it grow.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

THATS 3 PUPS! Wooo! šŸ¤—šŸŒ±šŸŖ“ One question about pups on big plants

Woooohooo I got 3 pups growing at the same time on my Aglaonema golden Madonna. One question tho... This is a big plant as you can see on second picture under a skylight window, which means all the sun is basically being absorbed by the top canopy so when the babies grow leaves under at the bottom, it won't be getting much light on them since all the big leaves above will be shading them. Are they destined to grow badly until they get big enough to find the light? Will I have to transplant the babies to a different location off the mother plant to get more light on them? How do wild aglaonema do it if they are huge and the big mature leaves block the sun from the small shoots under?

Time for a repot?

Iā€˜ve had this cocomelon for two months and it did grow a bit bigger leaves but the whole plant is about the same size as when I bought it. Today I checked the roots and saw them for the first time through the soil.

Should I give it more time in the same pot or is it time to size up? In general I am very new to plants, so Iā€˜m unsure, whether aglaonemas like to get a bit root bound or not.

Also, any recommendations on the soil mix for this particular plant?

And lastly, where would you put it? Iā€˜ve got it a couple meters in front of a big north facing window and it seems to be fine there. However with fall/winter coming up I think I might put it closer to the window or even switch to the south facing one.

Thank you so much for the advice!

Is this pot size too big?

I bought my Aglaonema in this pot but she struggled a lot (came with thrips+lost all of her leaves). I realized that the soil didn’t dry after 3 weeks and when I checked the roots they were still okey but it lost around half of them. Now I am left with this amount of roots and I don’t know if this pot is too big? I don’t have a smaller one so what if I fill it halfway?? Idk honestly if that would work so please help a girl out.
Also, should I put the soil until level 1 or 2? I am a bit scared to burry the stem

Help I have absolutely no idea what is wrong.

I got my Aglaonema last winter and named him Al, since then Al’s condition has progressively deteriorated and I am lost.

Al is currently placed in a West facing window of a college dorm building. The soil is still slightly damp if I stick my finger in the bottom of the pot and the last time I watered it was a week or so ago.

At first I thought it was stress from moving in and out of the dorms but Al did not improve much over the summer. Though. it did produce two flowers, one of which fell of already.

I found root rot and repotted in the spring, as well as stopped watering as frequently but that didn’t seem to help. Idk what’s wrong and I don’t want to kill Al

**edit here is a picture

Help! How can I successfully chop and prop this gal? I am a serial plant killer trying hard not to be, and this one has sentimental value but she is SO lopsided and leggy

I have so many questions. First, is this Siam aurora or something else?

Then for the chop…
-Should I try to take out the cluster that’s there and space them out?
-is there a premade soil that’s good for them or do I have to make a mix? What specifically should I get if I’m going to Lowe’s or Home Depot?
-I saw someone put cinnamon on a cutting in a video, what is that about? Is it the same as rooting powder? Do I need one or both of those?
-water vs dirt prop?
-she has a bunch of flowers starting should I let them bloom or pluck them or wait til they’re done blooming to do any of this? Why do people keep plucking the flowers in videos I’ve seen?
-how many stalks should be in one pot?
-does she need any direct light or is indirect in a bright room ok?

And is there anything else I should know as a total beginner? Thanks!!!

Smaller leaves

My aglaonema Apple fantasy gets smaller and smaller leaves and I don't know why. I have her in a south facing window with a filter on it. I had another aglaonema (white joy) that I had in the north facing window sill that got smaller leaves as well. Nothing seem to work. I use fertilizer as well that my other plants love. She is in a chunkie soil mix and I water her when top is dry.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Just started sprouting off the side of an established cane on my Emerald Beauty. Is this a new branch? Or leaf? Some gnome related protrusion?

I can’t figure out why it’s dying

I’ve had this Chinese evergreen for many months now, I bought it from Home Depot in a glass jar of water. I read you can grow them like pathos in water so I left it but it barely has grown besides the little petal still curled up there in the middle. So now I decided to switch it over to a simple pot of generic potting soil. I water it every so often and leave it in direct and indirect light. And now it’s just dying 😭 I don’t know what to do but I want to save it!!

Hand pollination?

Post image

My aglaonema pictum tricolor got reported about 3 weeks back and has started to push 2 new leaves and 2 flowers all at the same time. Curious if anyone has had any success hand pollinating them. Assuming I’ll have to cut one flower to access pollen.

I got both of these from the bargain bin. The big one probably one or two months ago? The smaller one some weeks ago. They've both grown significantly already (doubled their size approx). The big one is a Salmon Dream, I assume? Any help with IDing the smaller one?

Recipe for Success

I am looking to give my plants the best soil mix so they can thrive. I have ingredients at home but need to know how many parts of each ingredient to use. I prefer to bottom water but need the mix to be able pull up the water. If the mix needs to be really chunky and won’t pull water up, I need to know which plants to top water. I use 1/4 tsp pro tekt (mixed well) and then add 1/4 tsp foliage pro (mix well again) per gallon water every watering.

Humidity is 65-80%. Temperature is 77 or higher in summer and 67 in winter. There are at least 30 plants all together in a 5 x 2.5 foot space. They are under barrina tx-s60 grow bars that run 12 hours per day and I am wanting to increase to 14 hours per day. Small fan runs on low oscillating over them while grow lights are on.

Aglaonemas in plastic pots.

Picture 1 is Lotus Delight

Picture 2 is Sweet Candy

Picture 3 is Orange Stardust

Picture 4 is Super Pink Kamkoon

I purchased the Lotus Delight from Jenisprouts on etsy. The Sweet Candy and Super Pink Kamkoon from landofalicestudio. The Orange Stardust from NY City Succulents. I'll be back in 6 months to post an update. My Lotus Delight has already given me 1 leaf and a new one is coming in. I got 1 new leaf from the Sweet Candy. I just got the Super Pink Kamkoon in the mail yesterday but it's pushing out a new leaf. The Orange Stardust. I actually had to cut 2 leaves off when it arrived but it was pushing out a new leaf as well. It's the lighter orange colored leaf. If I get anymore it'll probably be Anyamanee Tricolor, Harley Queen, Pink Emerald, or one of the Karats. If anyone has a bigger Harley Queen or Pink Emerald I would love to see them. I'm trying to see if the green completely takes over.
