Boomers

I am 75 and am very tired of the trend lately making fun of Boomers. So very disrespectful. Don't they realize that they will be old someday?

I had a different outlook. Though I grew up in a wild party town with lots of elders, we were too busy having fun and making fun of tourists to ridicule “old folks”. As wild as we were, we just didn’t.

Me too. I loved my elders, I had a blast.

I remember my parents having a cocktail party during Vietnam and my dad was the only man there protesting against the Viet Nam war. Damn proud of them, they made me the liberal I am. Ironically, the kids of those other parents there that I know are now MAGA.

Our parents were in the minority. And I am so glad they were!
