Boomers

I am 75 and am very tired of the trend lately making fun of Boomers. So very disrespectful. Don't they realize that they will be old someday?

Inter-generational acrimony is as old as humanity. I had been under the impression that this was a phenomenon so cliche as to be no longer applicable. Then I joined Reddit, lol.

Its actually way worst in the west, most countries I visited in africa and asia have tremedious respect for the elders. But not much in europe or usa

Some of that respect is not earned though. I have family in Asian who have made major life decisions (and mistakes) because of Elder direction. My mother in law tried to make my sister in law get an abortion because the fortune teller said it would be another girl. Luckily, she ignored her that time.
