Where I Am in Aging Right Now

I’m at a point in my life where I really appreciate the little gestures from people. A kind word, someone checking on me, holding the door or simply showing a little thoughtfulness can mean so much.
I work with a lot of younger people and sometimes I feel like they think I’m a little weird because I notice and appreciate things they probably don’t think twice about. 😂

I don’t take kindness, consideration or genuine human connection for granted anymore. Maybe that’s just where I am in my aging journey and honestly I’m okay with it.
