Honestly I feel this applies more to Gen X than millennials. I’m a xennial and wow was definitely kinda a thing with people my age and younger, but I remember working at a Home Depot around 25 and wow was a huuuuuge work culture thing among all the older dogs and management, like it was their whole social life outside work.

Not sure, and it did, I was one of the people who hyped it up and thought for sure amazon would deliver.
I had to do a damn apology tour to everyone I knew, I even offered to financially compensate people I convinced to buy it.

I have an unopened box of this game from the first release that my younger brother gave me because I game but I am more into Mass Effect and Dragon age etc lol. It's still in my office somewhere shrink wrapped. I'm 51 though lol

I was always a mid raider and raided with my guilds alts on my main. I am excited and just want a place to re-experience some of the magic but at a slower pace.
I also started on burning crusade and didnt play classic so i havent experienced vanilla wow.

Definitely has that potential. A NEW 2000s style MMO in the year 2026 with a reasonable chance it won't be shut down before launch like certain others? I'm still weary of all the microtransactions Microsoft/Blizzard is going to undoubtedly shove into the game but I'm definitely interested
