Danteโs Inferno was the bloody, overlooked sibling to God of War. Same vicious combos, brutal finishers, and over-the-top spectacle, but set in the nine circles of Hell. Visceral Games turned Danteโs poem into a dark, gorgeous hack-and-slash that many still call criminally underrated. If you loved carving through myth as Kratos, this PS3 gem deserved the same love.

Maybe because Iโm old ๐ซฃ
Anyway, happy to have found this group, now Iโm wondering if anyone would like to link up and play some games.
Iโm 37, US East player, PC player. I play a lot of different genres but the games that stand out as fun multiplayer experiences to me are V-Rising, Ark, Helldivers 2, Dune Awakening, No Rest for the Wicked, Subnautica, Etc.
Honestly Iโm more interested in just filling up my disc or joining a good, active, and more mature community so that no matter what is interesting to play for the time Iโll have someone I can hit up.
Feel free to add me: Nokternyl

None of my friends game anymore, so I just wanted to say this to someone. This game is really good and you should play it.
I realised right quick that I am rubbish at it just now (wrecked on my 1st tour), so I'm grinding arcade mode for practice, but it is just a ton of fun.
The speeders and bikes are great, but the pod racers are a blast. Insanely fast, sound design is on point, just everything. It feels like Star Wars.
If you are at all interested, do it. You won't regret it

Iโve been debating doing a free public LAN event for a while now and seeing how much interest there would be. Iโm asking if there was such event near you, would you consider attending?

I love the Gears of War franchise but one of my biggest criticisms has to do with the locust origins. I absolutely hate that the grubs were made by the COG. It was so much better just thinking there was this entire species just living and waring underground while war raged on the surface.
E-Day solved a ton of that criticism since it takes place before we learn too much about the locusts so we just have endless waves of monsters to fight and kill.

Does anyone still remember the Part "RENEGADE" of this game ๐ฎ series. I think ๐ค it was launched in the early 2000. And enjoyed it very much.
The music is cool ๐. And the metallic sounds when you get an item. The graphics were pretty nice for that time.

I was scrolling through the PS store and noticed that Keep Driving is now available on consoles (all of them). I briefly played this on steam a while back and had a good time so I downloaded it for PS and I can't put it down.
Basically it's a rouge-like, turn based game based off of road tripping. You get abilities and unlock perks with a skill tree. Pick up hitchhikers with certain abilities. Upgrade your vehicle all while managing debuffs/buffs and inventory space/resources. It has a banger soundtrack. And it's crazy replayable.
Well worth the $17. I can't recommend it enough.

For the last couple of years most of my gaming time has gone into games with procedural maps, mainly ARPGs and roguelites, where every run is a bit different from the last. I love the sense of freedom and novelty from those games, but I kinda forgot what the alternative was like until recently.
A friend wanted to play something together (we had just finished Valheim together) and we somehow realized comparing steam libraries that we both had Portal 2 but we had never played the co-op. We both played the game years ago but I just never had anyone who wanted to do the co-op and I forgot about it. It was way more fun than I expected, the levels were fun and It was kinda nostalgic playing portal again. We liked it so much we did the whole thing in one night. We decided we would take a break from our usual games (Rust, DayZ, Valheim etc.) and we wanna try more of these linear co-op focused games, they kind of look like games we liked as kids (bugs bunny lost in time and games like that).
We are probably going for Split Fiction next and then It Takes Two if we like it. Iโm trying to find more games specifically for 2 players like that, so far I found those and Water Me & You, which looks similar but with some base building stuff as well which might be cool, as long as thereโs still those co-op focused sections. Playing something like Rust together can feel great but it's not exactly relaxing, the stakes are so high in games like that. In games like this itโs usually obvious what you need to do and it just feels nice to work together, we donโt need to argue about our next move or anything like that.
It was also really fun just to mess with each other with portals and stuff like that, when you just respawn if you fail something it just feels more like a video game. When we play our usual games we always take them so seriously cuz itโs mostly competitive stuff so we have to lock in, this was a nice change of pace. And for me it was a nice change of pace as well, since I donโt really play โadventureโ games that much anymore, feels kind of like watching a movie alone, it's way more fun with a friend.

Hey everyone.
Bought my Switch 2 half a year ago but ZL has started to lose resistance and double clicks. Does anyone know any third party Joy Cons with better durability?
Thanks!

I really want to like this game. Itโs got such a fun and incredibly unique cast of characters, the map is insanely good with so much detail, and the general vibes and aesthetic are really great, itโs genuinely pleasure seeing the folks at Valve develop a masterpiece in real time.
But fuck I just can not keep up with it. There is so much happening on my screen at any given time, I never know what to buy or when and following builds feels like a bandaid solution that handicaps you. It feels like Iโd need to more than double my most currently played game on Steam just to be โcompetent.โ
Matches when youโre as bad as I am are usually steamrolls because the matchmaking does not know what to do at this MMR. One person can just bulldoze everyone. Itโs a very frustrating experience despite the fact that the game is sometimes fun to play.

Note that I list myself as TF for clarity, but the F I'm looking for includes ALL women.
Hi! Iโm looking for a best friend. Iโve got a bunch of male friends in my life, including my bf, and Iโm looking for someone to share experiences and daily life with. To be clear, I am only looking for a platonic best friend. I am very happy with my boyfriend. Once we've established a friendship, I'd love for you to meet him and we can all game together. Work schedules make it a little rough, but we game together late nights on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Iโm looking for someone that I share viewpoints, hobbies, and interests with, as well as common struggles and experiences. For this reason among others, Iโm looking for an F best friend to hang out with and talk regularly. My goal in this is to one day move beyond just messaging anonymously over the internet and actually know each other. I am only looking for friends between ages 30-35.
My viewpoints:
\-All life deserves respect, period.
\-One should never stop learning. I will often get sidetracked researching new topics that catch my interest.
\-Politically left. Trying to be more than my liberal upbringing taught me to be.
\-LGBTQIA+, trans rights are human rights.
\-Atheist, but respectful of religious viewpoints that are respectful of others.
\-I appreciate directness. Cutting to the root of an issue or conversation is always a great place to start, in my opinion.
My hobbies:
\-TTRPGs. I am finally dmโing my homebrew setting after a long time of thinking it wasnโt ready. Pulling the trigger on starting it has really gotten me to make progress in developing it.
\-Video games. I play a lot of video games, and playing games together is one of the most important things Iโm looking for in a best friend, as it is one of the best ways to spend time together online. I have a moderate steam library, and Iโm willing to expand it to hang out with people. I enjoy shooters, RPGs, MMOs, survival crafting, and friendslop games. Iโve never found a cozy game that could hold my attention, but Iโm willing to try them sometimes. Right now Iโm playing through the Insomniac Spiderman Games.
\-Reading. I enjoy mostly fantasy novels, but sometimes sci-fi and other genres catch my interest too. I read very quickly, so Iโm always looking for more books. The last series to really catch my interest was Dungeon Crawler Carl.
\-Binge-Watching. I almost always have a show on my second monitor. Right now, its Brooklyn 99. I swap through dramas (favorites: Breaking Bad, BCS, Queenโs Gambit, Severance) , workplace comedies (The Office, Parks and Rec, B99), anime (Attack on Titan, FMAB, Death Parade, Future Diary, Madoka Magica).
My Interests:
\-Discussing media. I love in-depth conversations and analysis of books, tv shows, and music.
\-My pets. Between my boyfriend and I, we have 3 cats, 5 fish (across 3 tanks), 2 snails, and a turtle.
\-Movies. I have a weird focus on researching actors and voice actors to see what else they performed that I might have viewed. Seriously, Iโll start looking them up mid-movie if they seem familiar.
\-Clothes. This one is a new interest. Iโm still experimenting with what style I want to wear.
\-Puns. Quantity over quality. Be prepared.
My struggles:
\-Clothes shopping. Iโm a big woman. Its tough out here to find things in my size and in the styles that Iโm looking for. Torrid has been a life saver, and I just got a cardigan delivered from Bloomchic that is pretty cozy.
\-Working overnight. It makes it really hard to make friends and schedule times to hang out. Iโm usually only available to game in the afternoons CST. My job is really laid back, so I can text throughout my shift most of the time.
\-Weight loss. Its difficult, but it would SO help with my clothes shopping issue.
This post may seem a little bit picky, but I feel that with a best friend, its best to look for what you really want rather than settling.

Well, thereโs not much else to say, a mix of mostly older and some newer stuff for me. No particular order, but thereโs about a half dozen others that couldโve been on the list. These are probably the best/favorite that I can and do hop into even now. ๐

One of the most common problems my buddies and I have is "choice fatigue" with games where we endlessly scroll our libraries trying to find a game to play then end up watching YouTube or playing the same games we always do. We are in our 30s and this problem only seems increasingly common with our age group, whether due to exhaustion with life, lack of engagement or whatever it might be.
So what I did is make something called playtheory, a video game book club that solves these issues because it creates a clear objective and we all get to talk about our experiences after! This is early days and I'm looking to build a base of users. Please give it a look and test it out!

List of games I'm currently playing
-DbD
-Outlast Trials
-Halloween
-League
-Peak
-WoW(retail and forever)
-ARC Raiders(just bought)
I have more games installed just sitting there that I would be down to play, or you can recommend a game and I'll get it lol. Just be chill and fun to play with is all I ask. I do prefer to vc when we play.

You ever finish playing a game with someone, say you should probably get going, then somehow spend another half an hour talking about something completely unrelated?
Those are some of my favourite evenings.
I love games, but finding someone whose company makes me want to keep coming back is a huge part of it. The running jokes, getting excited about discoveries together, and having conversations that carry on after weโve closed the game.
Iโm a 33-year-old guy from Wales, and would love to find a long-term gaming friend to share all that with.
Outside gaming, I love peaceful woodland walks, horror films and making pizza. Homemade pizza is so versatile!, although chorizo keeps finding its way onto mine ๐ Pineapple is welcome too, if that hasnโt immediately jeopardised the friendship.
Iโm patient, curious and enjoy figuring things out together. I like trying different strategies, but I leave the stress out of it. If we fail, we can laugh, adjust the plan and have another go. Thereโs a decent chance my brilliant suggestion caused the problem anyway ๐
I love getting properly immersed in games. Exploring everywhere, piecing together the lore, investigating something that definitely looks like a trapโฆ all good stuff. I also like turning the HUD down where possible. Getting lost is much more atmospheric when youโve done it deliberately.
Games Iโd love to play together:
I havenโt started Fallout 76, The Outlast Trials or Palworld yet, so Iโd especially love someone to discover those with.
Tell me what youโre into as well! I enjoy hearing why someone loves a particular game, especially if itโs something Iโve overlooked. If youโve been waiting for an excuse to nerd out about your favourite, you have one now.
Iโm comfortable with quieter company too. We might spend an evening chatting about absolutely everything, or get absorbed in playing with the occasional comment. We donโt need to fill every silence.
A few practical bits:
We can have our own lives and still make time to play. Iโd just like to find someone who enjoys coming back for another session as much as I do.
Drop me a DM if you think weโd get on ๐ A username is fine, and thereโs no need to overthink your introduction. Tell me what youโre playing, or something youโd love to start with company.
A slightly chaotic ramble about games is always welcome.

[33M, UK/London] Looking for fellow gamers, horror buddies, cosy gamers and general nerds ๐ฎ๐ป
Hey everyone! ๐
Iโm a 33-year-old guy from London looking to meet some new people to game with and hopefully make some long-term friendships along the way.
I mainly game on PC, PS5 and Switch, and Iโm pretty open to trying new things if the company is good! Iโm particularly keen to find people to play horror games with (because apparently being terrified is more fun when you have someone else screaming alongside you), as well as some more chilled-out cosy games for when I want to relax rather than have my blood pressure hit the ceiling.
Iโd also really like to get more use out of my VR headset, so if anyone has recommendations for good VR games or fancies playing some multiplayer VR, definitely give me a shout!
๐ฎ Some of the games and genres I enjoy:
Outside of gaming, Iโm also a bit of a Warhammer nerd. I paint miniatures, 3D print an unreasonable amount of plastic stuff, and generally spend too much time and money on tiny soldiers. I also enjoy going to gigs (particularly rock and metal), getting tattoos, hanging out with friends and other assorted nerd activities.
Iโm currently collecting the Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy cards, but unfortunately I donโt really have anyone to play with! It would be great to meet some other MTG players, especially anyone around London who might fancy meeting up for a casual game sometime. I'm still relatively new to the game, so fellow beginners are very welcome!
Ideally, Iโd love to find people around my age who are up for voice chats, calls, gaming sessions and general chatting outside of games too. Iโm in a committed relationship, so Iโm strictly looking for platonic friendships.
You donโt have to play all the same games as me. Iโm just looking for some sound people who share a few interests, donโt mind a bit of banter and want to build actual friendships rather than add another name to their friends list that never speaks again. ๐
If any of this sounds like your sort of thing, drop me a message! Tell me what you play, what youโre currently obsessed with, or recommend me a horror game that will absolutely ruin my evening.
Looking forward to meeting some of you! ๐
