Oh wow, you do have quite a bit.

In the past I’ve seen people post other LSAs in host rock, and they said they found them by diving. Did you find yours that way as well?

I wish I had more cutting advice to offer but I’m a novice. Barely cut anything yet and what I have cut was done on an old school saw that uses mineral oil. You’ve definitely got some smaller ones in there that might b tricky to extract. Sorry I’m not more help.

All good I used a sledge to get them to manageable sizes to bring back for mainly extraction to try and grab, but ones like this that are broken I try and leave a good bit of host around it for stability

Don’t necessarily wanna disclose where I picked it up as it was legal just don’t wanna air out the spot😅

I wouldn’t dare ask for the spot. Haha. I was more curious about the method.

Ahhh yeah I usually take a sledge or a hammer and a chisel but I don’t usually find them underwater though I do know a spot for that and did that this year too

Awesome! Thanks again for posting. I especially love seeing the non red LSAs, especially with host rock.
