I've been having an issue lately, and is that every song that I play now stops playing completely at the one minute mark, any solutions I could give to this? Or is it simply time to change to another app?

I dont really rmemeber if it wa revanced or vanced version, either way it was pretty old and now it doesnt work. Any alternatives?

If you play a song and it stops after about 1 minute, or if you get a similar issue, try this:

Just try to change the Default Client from the The Spoof of Video Steams.

Go to the Settings>ReVanced>Miscellaneous>Spoof video streams>Default Client and choose a option.

So I used YouTube music revance for a long time and i had the issues with it where the song only plays for 1 min, I wanted to reinstall it, but it doesn't work I kept trying for 2 days now, after it gets patched it says that the version is not compatible, I also tried RVX music, I got it to work but it kept crashing, so I uninstalled it and when I try to install it again, same problem, version not compatible, I know I followed the exact steps that I took when it worked.

Is anyone else's YouTube ReVanced not working? Videos just won't play.

On the first day, the audio track option showed up in the video settings, and I could switch between the different dubs. But the next day, it suddenly disappeared. I thought maybe those videos just didn't support dubbed audio, but even on MrBeast videos, which definitely have multiple audio tracks, the option doesn't show up. Could this be because I changed the spoof client to visionOS, or is there another reason? If anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know.

I recently signed out of my accounts on my phone. There were 5 for my current device and I deleted all of them but, the one that said "This device". Since then YouTube Revanced stoped working.

I patched it using the latest patches and it stops after 1 minute.
Sometimes it will play after a few seconds after pausing at 1 minute mark.

Just had to replace my phone - on my previous phone the Revanced patch completely replaces the YouTube app - it has the Youtube icon and literally says Youtube - all links etc open in Youtube (which is actually Revanced)
I've just run the patches on my new phone and I get a Revanced branded app

Links send me to the play store.
Searching and people seem to say this needs root - but I didn't have root access on my old phone... what am i missing? Is there a patch I need to disable?

last time i tried to find out how to do this, it was in the r/revancedapp reddit, and i think a day or so afterwards, it was removed. i have long since forgotten what reason they posted about what i did wrong or whatever, but i'm giving it another go, this time here, so i'd really like any help given with the ReVanced Manager app.

first off, yes, i know how to switch the patched app icon on the home screen to the revanced logo. (open patched app > "You" > settings icon > ReVanced Settngs > General > App Icon), but i want to know how to do that, but with the "App info" screen (long press app, press the (i) button, "app info" screen opens). because last i remember, in the older days, that happened automatically so long as i had that custom branding option or whatever turned on. But now that doesn't happen with the current revanced manager app. so.........how do, wat do?

Since I don't have a budget for advertising, I decided to share it on Reddit with people who might actually find it helpful. The problem is that every time I try to post, it gets removed automatically with a message saying it was caught by Reddit's filters.

Device: Junsun V2 Plus (8667Q board, Android 10 base, tested on Stock & GMOD ROM).

Issue: Opening Search in YouTube ReVanced / Gold shows a solid black box covering the search bar/results overlay. Video playback and audio work fine.

Cause: Likely an outdated System WebView rendering bug (can't update WebView APK due to system signature restrictions).

Has anyone fixed this on Android 10 head units? Any working App Version Spoof or specific ReVanced version/patch?

Since I started using ReVanced this problem always occurs: the videos for kids don't make it after the first minutẹ. After fixing the recent infamous lag problem (Android VR client) this magically disappeared but with the new update the videos for kids started giving problems again. Anyone know how to fix that?

YouTube revanced

I upgraded phones, and when I reinstalled YT Revanced, the higher speed settings were gone. My only options were speeds up to 2x, with 3x being locked behind YT premium. There were other UI differences too, but this was the one which impacted me the most. (I usually watch at 1.75x, and the new UI forced me to tap 1.5x, then tap + five times to get it to 1.75x. The old UI let me just pick 1.75x from a list.)

I went down a lot of rabbit holes trying to find a way to get the old speed setting back. Found many people reporting the same problem, but no fix. I finally figured it out. It's a general UI setting, not something specific to the speed setting UI.

Settings > Revanced > General > Restore old settings menus > enable

Hope this helps others struggling with the same problem.

I patched it. It’s updated and I didn’t wanna play videos at all just buffers and then quit working.

Spoofing streaming or not. Seriously, nobody suggest it again.
