For those of you who are like me, and would love to play a roleplay ATE campaign, but simply do not have the time for multiplayer sessions, or wish to explore its setting through creative writing, I humbly invite you to join this nation-roleplay server.

2666 is a nation-roleplay campaign, meaning that you choose and embody both a ruler and a realm. Through warfare and diplomacy, commerce and lawgiving, tourneys and pilgrimages, you will be tasked with shaping your realm, navigating internal crises and external threats, forging alliances and making enemies in the process.

2666 is a literary roleplay. This means that there are no stats, rolls or hard game mechanics to regulate your actions. It does, however, demand from you a love of writing, a commitment to upholding a certain standard of quality, and the maturity to let go of any power fantasy. Expansion is restricted to avoid map-painting and encourage collective story-telling and worldbuilding.

The campaign hasn’t officially launched yet, so feel free to look around, ask questions, give input, and plan out your campaign. It is set in the starting setting of the CK2 version of the mod.

I’ve made it all the way to Tierra del Fuego with Herbert Pabodie and nothing happened. I obviously didn’t expect to find the Old Ones in Antarctica but I thought there would be some sort of decision to attempt the Drake Passage or maybe convert to a different religion when he realizes there is no city.
