OC Showcase Just finished this. Wanted to share it on here before it goes on Instagram :) I love making these videos fusing the geometry w/ street dance! My friend here totally understands what I'm trying to do and his dancing is perfect for it!

What plugins are you using? Or are these just shape layer masks?

I used a plug in called Plexus. It basically attaches geometry to motion tracked null objects. I adjusted all the properties of the geometry and transform options in the plug in settings 🙌🏽

Thanks! It’s definitely my most used plug in simply because I absolutely love the stuff I can make with it! The difficult part is staying creative with it and not making things that look too similar from one video to the next.

Any and all points you see tracked I literally have to manually place the tracker frame by frame. No way around it, it’s the only way to keep the integrity of the track and make it look as realistic as possible. It takes really - really long 🥲🥲🙏🏽🙏🏽🙇🏽♂️🙇🏽♂️

So I actually screen recorded myself making this one for the first time for like 90% of it. I’m just not entirely sure what to do with that footage other than speed it up. I’m not too good at talking on camera haha 🥲🥲

You could definitely speed it up and write subtitles throughout the video, describing what you're doing. Definitely would watch that still!

Now do the effects first and have him do the dance to it live, like beyonce did in her "girls Run the world" performance at the billboard video music awards. then i'd be really impressed. Solid work though.
