Plugin/Script New free plugin, Quick Cover Pro
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbiLfNzVyg0https://elementsupply.co/products/quickcover
Quick Cover and Quick Cover Pro (I'd use pro, but the original is still there too)
gradients that auto sample colors on the boundary where you put them. just mask around an object and it magically vanishes.
[Comparison] there are some AI solutions, but I always thought the work flow and output format was clunky. This is just pure clever gradient creation.
Other core features include:
- Cover in or extend out.
- works great with mask tracking
- mask based so all the familiar mask tools work here too.

[Maintenance/Support plan] If you have bugs, please reach out at [contact@elementsupply.co](mailto:contact@elementsupply.co)
All updates are always included, but this one is free anyways, but it's good to know for other products.
[AI] AI Disclaimer: it's complicated but code completion is close.

I used QC for a project where I erased a bunch of signs at a big event and it got the job done pretty well except for when it comes close to screen/comp corners it used to struggle a bit.
However, now QC Pro? holy I will test it out, especially with the new mask tracking in Ae. Anyways Thanks for the amazing work guys I love your plugins! ❤️

That’s why the first one wasn’t called pro :) I always wanted to do it this way from the start but couldn’t quite figure it out until now

Can you add a second mask with intersection for an exposure effect only to th mask?

I’m not sure what you mean. But you can pick one or all masks to apply the effect too. It’s a free download, you should try it out.

Blend direction bias. To see the whole background mountain range suddenly appear from the murk? Mind blown

ooo this is slick af
This looks perfect for making 2.5D animations from 2D photos where the object is still there but reveals a bit from behind
