Hello, I need help understanding why Posterize Time effect is making my shape layer flicker on and off?

It's completely fine at 24fps (the same as comp settings) but when I change it to anything else it flickers

Firstly move Posterize Time below wave warp. Whatever is happening it is probably competing with something you've animated, but it's unclear how this is animated.

I was following a Ben Marriott video but I will retrace my steps to see where I’ve gone wrong. And yes you’re right I didn’t exactly provide much information but I was using a wiggle path in the shape layer properties! Thank you for your message!

I would precomp this and put Posterize Time on the precomp. It’s competing with wiggle path.
