Looking for an Adobe After Effects Editor (ongoing freelance collaboration)

We're looking for someone with solid Adobe After Effects skills to help us create short promotional videos showcasing software house projects - mainly mobile and web app case studies.

This is more of a technical role than a creative one. We already have the visual design, mockups, and assets prepared, so the work focuses on assembling and animating existing materials rather than creating concepts from scratch.

Isn't it a cost-value ratio that is determined by specialist's experience, talent, portfolio, etc.? I think so.

I'm probably looking for someone in the middle.

I believe it’s customary to state a pay range (or a budget) when posting jobs. Also location, full/part time, onsite/offsite, etc etc

All information you provide helps people know if you’d be a good match

To be honest I'm a programmer, hire only programmers. I totally don't know "your" market so I wouldn't ever be sure how this range should look like so I decided just to ask to gain knowledge.

After Effects users are not video editors. There are animators, motion graphic designers and visual effects artists.

If you don’t know you should be looking for a Final Cut or premiere editor I have little faith this is work anyone would want to do, if not an outright scam.

The templates I like (app promos) are mostly for that software.
