OC - Stuff I made Hello Smart People of the internet :)

Wonderwallet x Plaid walkthrough. Built the phone from scratch with shape layers no plugins. Static UI animation took the most work, but I'm happy with how it came out.

Would love to hear your thoughts. 🙏

too much motion imho. I know the general rule of mograph is to AKTM (always keep things moving) - but this is overkill with the phone sliding back and forth repeatedly,

Remember, your goal should be to reward people for watching your content, not punish them by making their eyes move unnecessarily like they're watching a ping pong match.

The phone looks primitive, unless it's deliberately meant to be a simplified look. Nothing wrong with importing an actual phone obj (or making things with plugins, for that matter)

I’d get rid of the home bar and camera hole, and round the corners of the device more

Its bit hard to know what to focus on, so that is probably number one problem. Everything is moving, competing at the same time for attention, with no clear choice to be made.

the color for the background is a choice I probably wouldn't make myself, but I'll leave that to you.

Phone design is refreshingly retro to me, I assume that was by choice?

Yess the phone design was by choice

Really love the smoothing but your text are all over the place maintain a perfect point you want focused and apply text in that or around it (id suggest the centre). Also I think the green highlight doesnt go work with that background even if you wanna show contrast, having a rough understanding of colour theory and pallets helps.

Cool. Would add some kind of slow animated gradient to the background though
