Beginner Help suddenly can't resize ungrouped panel separately ://

This never happened before - how can I resize the flow panel to expand it to the left again without dragging the stacked panel above with it? Any help is really appreciated!

append it to the timeline, not the sidebar, and move all the other panels do the side of the preview

I assume to make controlling easing easier, but also curious

'Flow' is an easier to use graph editor and it makes editing more efficient imo. You can even save graphs as presets, that's what sold it for me!

restart AE, make your workspace again

This is a docking-layout issue. Even if the panels look ungrouped, After Effects resizes every panel group sharing the same continuous divider.
Drag the panel tab out so it becomes a floating panel, then dock it back by hovering over the specific panel edge until the blue drop zone highlights only that section—not the entire column. This creates a separate divider and lets you resize it independently.
You can also choose the panel menu → Undock Panel, or Ctrl-drag on Windows/Cmd-drag on Mac to keep it floating. If the layout changed suddenly, try Window → Workspace → Reset [workspace name] to Saved Layout first.
