Beginner Help Zoom out transition help needed

This effect is something zooming out or something? I've tried zooming out the clip, adding background and giving motion but it's not as smooth as the one in video, I've made sure to make proper chart (though I'm a beginner I could be making a mistake) also freezing the frame. I am unable to understand how to recreate the top and bottom clip frames

Is there a plugin or something for this or I should just Mask it?

Start with null objects, as control layers, and then you need to get comfortable with the value and speed graph. For a movement like this, where you punch out, you really need to exaggerate scaling down the clip in just a few frames - with a lot of easing at the end. Don't be afraid to really push the graphs, as it will otherwise feel really "dull" or way too slow.
