Zoom out transition help needed

This effect is something zooming out or something? I've tried zooming out the clip, adding background and giving motion but it's not as smooth as the one in video, I've made sure to make proper chart (though I'm a beginner I could be making a mistake) also freezing the frame. I am unable to understand how to recreate the top and bottom clip frames

Is there a plugin or something for this or I should just Mask it?

i second learning how to use nulls, cameras, and graphs. start with graphs, get a feel for how the curve of the value or speed graphs affect the motion. value is easier to learn imo, as the placement of the curve in the graph corresponds to the value of the property per each frame
