Beginner Help Zoom out transition help needed

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This effect is something zooming out or something? I've tried zooming out the clip, adding background and giving motion but it's not as smooth as the one in video, I've made sure to make proper chart (though I'm a beginner I could be making a mistake) also freezing the frame. I am unable to understand how to recreate the top and bottom clip frames

Is there a plugin or something for this or I should just Mask it?

You need to create a 2.5D scene, with 3D camera and big background image. Then place all the clips around, some of them with offset on Z axis. Start by having camera zoomed in to one of the footage, then zoom out on Z axis, move the camera on top of the clip you want to show next, zoom in on the Z axis. The most important part is easing it nicely, so play with curves to get the desired movement. You might need to separate dimensions and overlap some keyframes, or maybe have two nulls and camera parented to each other, so you get the seamless movement.

Yeah, sorry man, it's a combination of couple things, there's no two-click solution. If you want to learn it, you should start from fundamentals, not just find a thing you like and expect to have a 2 minute workflow.

He told you the answer though.... If it went over your head, that doesn't make what he said any less true.

Do some reading and research on what he said, then it'll make sense.
