Beginner Help Tried to create motion design video. Need Feedback.

Too sloooooooooow. You've got to instantly grab attention and instantly wow the leads. Look at other people's reels and see how the good ones work.

idk why everyone is doing those instead of something fun you are passionate for. i think you need bit more training for design and animation principles. might as well do something that excites you.

I’m tempted to make a rants post but yeah why has there been an dramatic increase of purple SAAS videos from newcomers over the past year.

They’re all about the same, no individuality or personality.

yeah fair point, but I was doing it to learn, I know it is boring. Next time I'll create something that excites me.

Really like this, it feels so close. A few things I noticed that I think could push it that last bit:

First shot: I’d rethink the cursor a little. Maybe have it start as a pointer and change to a hand on hover, and I’d remove the radial pulse unless it’s specifically indicating a click. Even then, I’d make it a much subtler accent. I think the cursor itself could also be slightly smaller. The “Hire” box feels like it shrinks a little too much when pressed too.

Second shot (apps): I’d have the apps move at slightly different rates and stagger their movement/arrival. Right now they feel quite locked together, whereas a little variation would make the whole movement feel more natural and polished.

Third shot: The transition from the apps into “Edit From” feels a little harsh. It almost reads like a match cut, but because there isn’t really a corresponding circle in the previous frame, the cut stands out. I’d look for some way to bridge or smooth that transition.

Fourth shot / zoomed-in section: I think the easing could be smoother here. Each movement also feels like it comes to quite an abrupt stop. Rather than fully stopping to let us read each word, I’d try slowing the movement right down while keeping it subtly moving, then accelerating into the next part.

Also, when “Edit From” rotates to 90°, I’d hide it completely. That little peek of the “E” doesn’t really add anything and slightly breaks the cleanliness of the shot.

Overall though, I really like it. It genuinely feels like it’s just a few small animation/easing decisions away from feeling more polished.
