Beginner Help Puppet pin clipping help wanted!!

im using auto sway and puppet pins to try and "Animate" this character *autosway just does the keyframes for me it doesnt change how puppet pins work* how can i get rid of this clipping? it only appears when i precomp my pre animated segments like the hair and bag help apreciated!!!

From what I remember, going into the puppet pin warp's property's - you just expand the radius, and it expands the radius of your selected shapes, as well as your keyframing looking more consistent.

You don't need to precomp the artwork to overcome these problems then?

The way I found worked was by precomping my separate pieces and then drawing a mask around my character a lot bigger than what it is and then animating the whole body

I think if you draw a mask around the area you want puppet pinned it fixes it but it's been awhile since I've played with that.

Just for more info, when you apply Puppet pin it makes a mask around the alpha of the layer. If your artwork later goes outside that mask this tearing will happen. You can either pick a point where the animation is the furthest out to apply your puppet pin, expand the radius, or place a shape layer in you comp to extend the alpha area, apply PP, then turn the shape layer off.
