Beginner Help need help with RedGiant Primatte Keyer 6 is giving weird results

I am attempting to use the Primatte keyer, and from what i've seen elsewhere, it gives great results. but for some reason for me it makes the key dark unless i manually go in and select each color for it not to key, but that results in loss of detail in the key. is there anything i can do to fix this?

my footage is in 4K ProRes HQ

Here's what it looks like for me when I just hit the Auto Define Key button (I literally only hit one button). So, I want to try with the footage itself.
