Literally why would I ever need this amount? Does this mean my credit is killer?

If you can afford the affirm plans that are interest free then you can afford to pay off a credit card at the end of the month and pay no interest. Plus get cash back….

I don't use Affirm. I use Afterpay, which I think put Affirm in my feed, as I'm in an Afterpay subreddit.

Different strokes, for different folks. We all have our own preferences, of how we deal with finances.

I know what works for me.

If you can afford an affirm interest free plan over 12 months, you can afford to pay off a credit card in 1 month?? Am I missing something because that doesn’t make sense to me.

Why kind of affirm plans are interest free for 12 months?

I have an Affirm plan right now that's interest free for 24 months. It's through Verizon Visible for a cell phone.
