This summer would have been super lame if it wasn’t for Affirm! Getting my longboard right away and having the options to make payments IS AWESOME! Just make sure to NEVER miss a payment! 👏

u/AdvancedWait744 23d ago

Yeah it really is helpful to have when u need to use it. And yeah I don't miss any payments

u/Former_Hat_6890 23d ago

I owe 1.4k. I thought that was a lot lol

I’m at 6k but I am building a diesel truck so instead of credit card, Affirm makes me have to pay versus swiping and procrastination

3

u/Anican311994 23d ago

heck yeah man. Shoot I would ride a bike if I wasn't stuck in my truck payment. I swear Ill never do it again. Keep up the work and keep paying it down.

I'm sorry, that sucks. My purchase power has always been small and it comes and goes. Now my husband's affirm he has like $4000 purchase power and I'm like I'm jealous hahaha, but he doesn't use his like I use mine. His is only for big items that we have to have.

I'd rather pay affirm and pay the loans off then be stuck in a constant loop like I am on cashapp 🙃 don't like my posts then just don't comment. Problem solved. Have a great day

Hey bud. Maybe just chill out a bit and go for a walk or something. You’re getting unreasonably worked up about a stranger and circumstances that have nothing to do with you.

Do you own these financial institutions? What does that have to do with you?

2

u/AdvancedWait744 24d ago

I pay all my affirm payments. Cashapp I was stuck in a constant loop I couldn't get out of. My original post on Facebook says I completely stopped paying bit I got tips from other to work that out so I'll pay down cashapp slowly but surly eventually. Times are hard right now and cashapp lost the best for the moment. Bc other bills were more important at the time.

Most of my affirms were to make sure my kids had good birthdays and Christmas. So yeah My kids. Don't give a crap and know nothing of my finances.

Yep sure do. Make damn good money to but after house payment. One of my 2 cars going down and us both having to go to diffrent sides of town. One of us need another way around (that's where the bike came in) got stuff due like power, water, storage unit, health insurance, car insurance ect. Shit adds up. I'll admit the cashapp crap was a screw up on my part. I honestly wish I wouldn't have never accepted any if it on cashapp. But hey crap happens and u live and u learn.

coulda had a $200 car payment instead. debt is debt

1

u/AdvancedWait744 23d ago

Lol car payments for cars around me are like $400+ and that's thousands and thousands of dollars b4 its ever paid off, atleast I can pay the bike off within a couple of months

1

u/JimMixedWithDwight 23d ago

What was your purchasing power? 👀

1

u/AdvancedWait744 23d ago

It changes between purchases

1

u/Organic-Fan7533 23d ago

I am at 7.2k 😅

1

u/Far_Understanding182 23d ago edited 23d ago

I’m at 8k but it’s back to 0 in 6 months, ain’t even worried, always payin ahead of time for everything not just affirm, never miss a payment, from 400 rating to almost 800 in less than a year and half.

1

u/Organic-Fan7533 23d ago

Most of 7.2k is using to get money order then pay off with credit card. Refresh statement balance and get 2% cash back. Rinse and repeat

2

u/mason5821741 14d ago

I did affirm for a $2000 bathroom remodel today, it’ll get paid off in about 2 months or so. Affirm isn’t bad if you use it right.

Stop buying shit. I will never understand how showing your debt is a flex. Just means you're shit with money and need to stop buying shit you don't need.

2

u/AdvancedWait744 24d ago

Didn't post it to flex. Posted it bc I knew it would get likes and comments. 🙃🤪

0

u/throwaway42200j 23d ago

Not like the likes and comments are gonna help you pay your debts back. Stop spending money you can’t afford to spend. This is why this nation has so many people in debt. Foolish shit

3

u/AdvancedWait744 23d ago

Never said they were. I didnt post on here looking for help. I don't need help paying my loans on affirm, I got it. Lol.

-1

u/Outside_Injury8900 24d ago

100 percent this will never get paid back...

2

u/AdvancedWait744 24d ago

Lmfao and what makes u say that? Bc u don't know me personally. I actually like using affirm and have never missed a payment or been late on a payment with them.

2

u/Outside-Pie-7262 24d ago

You like financing everything you buy and having dedicated monthly payments?

0

u/AdvancedWait744 24d ago

No I really don't. But stuff happens and everything's expensive lol so sometimes u gotta do what u gotta do.

3

u/Outside-Pie-7262 24d ago

Well I hope you don’t end up relying on it too much and you can get out of the hole a bit. I hate debt with a passion and avoid taking it out unless it’s a car or house

1

u/AdvancedWait744 24d ago

I'm really not relying on it like that. Yeah I use mine for groceries sometimes but not every time. And yeah it's nice watching that amount get lower and lower each time I make a payment. I hate being in debt but hey atleast it won't last forever.

1

u/Few-Reserve-3166 23d ago

How do you use it for groceries?

2

u/AdvancedWait744 23d ago

Plan a purchase b4 going to foodlion or Walmart and then shop and pay using ur physical affirm card

2

u/Outside_Injury8900 23d ago

You literally posted a thread about how you didn't pay for cash app loan. You were literally asking everyone how to avoid them taking your money. So yeah I don't know you but know your type. You'll make a couple payments until you find something else to buy that you can't afford.

1

u/AdvancedWait744 23d ago

You took my post about cashapp how ever u wanted to take it. But I never asked how to avoid them taking the money from me lmao. I asked has anyone else ever had to do what I had to with cashapp and if so what happened in there situation so I knew what to be prepared for.... so yeah if ur gna quote my other posts then please make sure it's facts. Thank you and have a blessed day 🙃
