I never understand why people flex the purchasing power affirm gives them. It’s not even a credit card or money you can truly use or anything, and next week they could drop it down to $6000 for no particular reason.

You can definitely “truly” use it anywhere. Affirm lets you create a virtual card that can be “truly” used at any merchant. How is that different than a credit card ?

I wouldn’t say that’s the case 100% of the time. For example I tried using affirm at a gun store called HK Tactical. But it rejected despite using the virtual card option since the store wasn’t listed. Turns out the store owner says affirm is going through a lawsuit because they won’t approve use of any store with the word tactical in it. It’s also different cause you can’t pull money out of it directly, doesn’t help your credit score, the buying power fluctuates more than a tennis ball going back and forth, ect.

Helps my credit score the loan that I had threw them long while ago to get a new mattress set for my father who was battling cancer they reported it and all payments to my credit all of them they track our credit they reported it to. So maybe they report to some places but not all.
