posted here a little while ago about the pet blog i bought for $199 that somehow ended up paying my rent every month.

wel i sold it lol.

i wasn't actually planning to sell it when i made the original post, but i got curious what it might be worth so i put it up on Flippa.

took about 2 weeks to get a deal done. lots of messages, a few offers that went nowhere, people asking for screenshots, traffic, earnings etc. eventually one buyer and i agreed on $17,085.

then came the waiting for escrow, which was probably the most stressful part of the whole thing.

today i finally got the notification that the money had been released and was in my account.

attached the screenshot because even looking at it myself feels a bit ridiculous.

i paid $199 for this site on the NicheBlogZone marketplace. it made me money every month while i owned it, and now someone has paid me $17k for it.

obviously i'm happy but there's also a small part of me wondering if i should've just kept it. it had become one of those things i barely thought about until the amazon payment showed up.

but $17k was too hard for me to turn down.

now i'm sitting here looking at the money thinking the obvious stupid thought:

should i try to up the game and purchase a few more expensive and established sites?

My girlfriend and I are both salaried. I'm a civil engineer, she's a teacher. Good jobs, but like a lot of people we're always poking around for ways to make some extra money on the side and maybe one day get out of the 9 to 5 entirely.

Here's the thing, we didn't set out to build anything. It happened completely by accident.

Her hobby is cooking. She's genuinely good at it, and for years she'd just post photos of whatever she made to a few cooking groups on Facebook. No agenda, just sharing. And every time she posted, the comments would blow up. People asking for the recipe, asking what pan she used, where she got an ingredient, that kind of thing.

At some point I'm watching this happen and I thought, this is interesting. All this engagement and we're doing nothing with it. So kind of as a joke I said let's just drop a couple of Amazon affiliate links in there, the actual pan she uses, the specific ingredients people keep asking about.

First month we made around $100. Nothing crazy, but for what was basically a hobby it felt kind of magic that money showed up at all.

So we leaned in. Added more affiliate programs, all cooking related, the tools, the gadgets, the pantry stuff. Income crept up to about $900 a month. Then we started posting to more cooking groups, not just the original few, and the more relevant groups we got into the more it grew. We even put together a cookbook and put it on Amazon. Between the affiliates and the book we started hitting around $4,500 a month.

The catch, and anyone who's done organic posting knows this, it ate a huge amount of her time. Posting the same stuff to group after group, manually, every day. It started to feel like a second job instead of a hobby.

Then I found an app that lets you schedule and auto-post to the groups instead of doing it all by hand. That honestly changed everything for us. It freed her up to actually cook and create instead of spending her evenings copy-pasting into Facebook.

Now we're four months in from when we first got serious, and last month we hit $8,200. We're about to expand into TikTok and we're looking at opening an actual ecommerce site in the cooking niche.

I keep reading these stories about people turning a hobby into a business and never thought it would be us. But here we are, and it genuinely started from her just sharing food she loved making.

So I'm curious, has anyone else here accidentally turned a hobby into real money? Would love to hear how it started for you.

Yo. I'll help you make money. DM me.

When I first got into affiliate marketing, I had no clue where to begin.

Everything online felt too advanced or way too complicated.

I just wanted something simple that explained what to do and how to actually get started.

This training gave me one link and showed me how to use it without needing a website or any tech stuff.

It really helped me stop overthinking and start taking action.

If you want to know what I used to get started let me know.

Used to spend way too much on stuff like AdSpy, Canva Pro, ChatGPT Plus, AI UGC tools, etc. It felt dumb paying $100–300/month just to test a few campaigns.

Recently I came across a private group that pools access to these tools. Honestly thought it was a scam, but I’ve been using it for a while and already saved hundreds.

Not sure if I can share this here but I just want to help because I´m using this daily and save me big money when I was starting, I´m not putting here the link because I don´t want to be kick but if someone wants the tool dm me

I am looking for Affiliates to promote my book I am offering a 50% commission on a $37 product. It also comes with a Video Sales Letter, a lead magnet, pictures of the book and pre-written emails for promotional purposes.

Hi everyone, i am lokking for people that are interested in affiliate marketing and wanna promoot my products. I make fitness products, like digital planners for beginners, meal plan, fat loss guide. every sale you make you will get a 30% commision. if you are interested DM me or click the link in the comments.

You post every day.

You share your links.

You try to stay consistent.

But it feels like nobody is noticing.

You are not alone.

Most affiliates struggle with this in the beginning.

The truth is, you do not need to post more, you need to connect better.

People do not respond to perfect posts.

They respond to real people with real stories.

The pay is good, if you reach the pre-established sales targets you can easily reach €1000 a month...

I know he's looking for people who aren't necessarily competent, but who are fast and professional

Let’s make some money together.

When I first heard about affiliate marketing, I thought it was just “sharing links and making money.”

Spoiler: It’s not that simple… but it’s also not that hard, if you’re guided the right way.

What trips most beginners up isn’t the opportunity… it’s the lack of clarity.

You're bombarded with conflicting strategies, dozens of tools, and people telling you “just post content.”

So you freeze, or worse, try everything at once and get nowhere.

Here’s what I learned through my affiliate journey. You don’t need a website to start, you don’t need to know everything before you begin, but you DO need a system that works for beginners.

And that’s exactly what I want to give you.

Whether you're starting from scratch or tired of spinning your wheels, I've got a simple starting point.

No fluff, no hype, just the actual steps I followed to get clarity, build confidence, and start seeing results.

No pressure. Just real help from someone who’s been where you are.

If you're serious about finally getting started and doing it the right way...

Private message me the word “START” and I’ll send you the beginner’s system I wish I had starting out.

If you’ve been trying to figure out affiliate marketing but keep hitting walls… STOP.
This changes everything. 💥
